But if you wanted to give it a political spin you could note that her future mother-in-law cast a courageous - and ultimately politically suicidal - House vote for a bill proposed by Chelsea's father that arguably stemmed the bloodletting of the national debt during his presidency:

Ironically that measure only got through the Senate due to the tie-break of the vice-president at the time, whose self-assigned task at the moment is trying to save us from becoming extinct in our own waste.

Unfortunately the health insurance industry has managed to purchase about four senators who are threatening to make it impossible to pass a health care bill that will reduce the current sky-rocketing debt. The most recalcitrant and hypocritical member of those "Four Horses of the Apocalypse" - as they were labeled by Keith Olbermann on Countdown - is not even a Democrat. To be "fair and balanced" Olbermann has been much harder on the Republicans and House "Blue Dogs" as this video shows.

Many of those Dogs would have been Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky's colleagues had she not been defeated by someone more amenable to defeating Clinton's budget and likely to defeating any bill that now contains the public option. The most dangerous Dog at the moment is a former Democratic senator from Connecticut.
