Well, I must have been tired last night because I put in a date of 4/13 for the end of the poll thinking it was Tuesday. Unfortunately, 4/13 is a Wednesday, so, the Final Four voting period will be three days instead of two. D'oh!
That means the Championship match-up will start Thursday 4/14.

I am baffled by Michael Owen ... he's quietly made his way through the draw without much attention, upsetting my boy Safin along the way! He's good looking - they all are - but I'm surprised he's made it this far. Doesn't seem like he's much of a match for Joey Harrington, though.
I'm not sure that Joey should win it all, though. It seems improper ... you know, the same way that employees of Pepsi can't win any contests that the company sponsors ...
Perhaps if Joey wins the voting, the contest can be declared null and void, with the trophy and title going to the highest seed Joey defeated along the way. Hmmm. Who could that be??

In the battle of April Birthday's Ausmus has taken an early lead over Bloom. BTW, Ausmus' birthday is April 14th so a nice present would be to send him to the finals on his birthday. Then again, Jeremy's birthday was April 2nd so a nice belated birthday gift would be to send him to the Championship game. Decisions, decisions.
And Harrington leading Owen? Woah.
In all honesty, I am shocked by the support Joey is receiving. I never would have expected Joey being in the final four. Knocking off the new "it" boy of Soccer, Ronaldo, then knocking off board favorites Brees, Lopez AND Cohen? That's impressive. While Owen is extremely cute, he's no Joey. Plus, he's British
Ausmus is another enigma. He's quietly disposed of his foes with hardly any fanfare. He's not the youngest guy in the competition and has hardly any shirtless pictures, or any pictures on the web. Hey, wait a minute. Now that I think about it, the two guys without any shirtless pics ( Ausmus actually has one on Scott's shirtless athlete's site) are leading their matches at the moment. Is this going to be a case where less is more?
I don't think anyone expected Harrington, Owen and Ausmus to be in the final four with Bloom. If you did, you better get yourself to Vegas, baby!

Jeremy Bloom is not only one of the hottest athletes in the world, but one of the hottest men period. He's got a little something for everyone: Muscular, but not too much so. Not too thin, not too bulky. Not hairy, but not completely smooth. Young, but not too young. Cute face. And it's all topped off with the willingness to show it all off for us in a plethora of shirtless shots. You may have to retire him to KOTH emeritus status next year to give someone else a fighting chance.

See, I just don't get it for him. The problem is that he's good-looking but really seems to KNOW it. He's a Male Bimbo, he's a Mimbo!
I liked the other guys because they are smokin' hot, but don't really flaunt it. Give me a little modesty (but a freak in the bed.)

Though all four are worthy of the crown, Brad Ausmus and Michael Owen are a smidge more worthy (sorry, Married Lady.) In an odd coincidence, if you combine their names, to Brad Owen, you get the name of one of my college biology professors. Sadly, he looked a lot like Jabba the Hutt.

Wow. Shocking turn of events.
If it ends up coming down to Owen vs. Bloom, I seriously will not vote. Not out of pouting (which is my usual modus operandi) but because they are both so one-dimensional to me. It's like asking who's prettier, Barbie or Skipper.
Actually, no, it's not like that - because we all know that's Barbie. Hello.

Ugh, I might be with you. Where is the love the for attainable hot guy? The guy you know is fabulous to look at and you have the feeling that you could get him?
Jeremy Bloom? Not so much. Michael Owen? Same thing.
Apparently, I am going to have to make a fake name and log onto the Joey Harrington site to request a shirtless photo. I gotta wonder if it would get posted to the front page of the site? HA!
But, seriously people, he does have a nice tight ass. Look at it! Nice shape, seems like you could bounce a quarter off it, good times good times!
Joey would be the booty on the left!
And just ONE more. I will use a link:

That's right, nothing stands out because it all balances out -- he's the
complete package!
(I'm talking purely about physical beauty; I don't know nothin' 'bout how many dimensions he has, but he seemed nice and intelligent (enough) when he did the Superstars competition.)

FINAL FOUR SIGHTING!
Today I met a client for a late lunch at Cosi's (restaurant) in Birmingham, MI. After a few minutes, I notice that a strangely familiar looking guy wearing jeans and a warm-up jacket is ordering food at the counter. I think it was the broad neck and dark hair that made me do a double/triple take. I kept glancing up, waiting for this guy to turn around, and then... sure enough! Joey Harrington, standing less than a first down in front of me. I pointed out to my client who he was, but she isn't a football fan, so his radiance was wasted on her. Pity.
He was with a woman about 28-30 and a girl of maybe 17 or 18. They sat down at a table, the women seated across the table from him, and proceeded to eat and chat. Very unassuming, nobody came up to him while I was there. Who knows who they were. I know that Joey lives in the area, but this is the first time I have seen him in person outside of Ford Field.
I went up to get some more water, which was strategically stationed near his table, and thought for a brief second about saying hi, but he was on his cell phone. Oh well, probably for the best anyway. Didn't want to appear too geeky in front of him, which I undoubtedly would have.
All I have to say is that in person... he looks better than any photo I've ever seen of him (not that the photos are bad, mind you...).

Oh, you should have dropped him a note to tell him that he was in the Final Four on the site. Maybe he would check in and see he's got lots of gay fans. I would love to hear him play piano in person. It's amazing that he plays such a violent sport, but can be gentle, delicate and play the piano so well.
