The wrestling fraternity at UPenn supports a counter-protest to the homophobic Westboro Baptist Church demonstration here in Philly.

The frat house is next to the Jewish fraternity which was the original target of the WBC group.

I could give all the brothers of Alpha Tau Omega a big ole wrestling hug.

First of all, why was a 9 year old boy out of school? Let me guess...he is being "home schooled" by these nutjobs. I have pity for that poor boy. Now, for the obvious kudos for the frat supporting some sanity. Do these idiots (WBC) realize Jesus Christ was a Jew? How can anyone claiming to be Christian hate a Jew? Then you hate Jesus, which seems mighty un-Christian to me! Where on God's green earth did God or Jesus ever say in the Bible that it is O.K. to hate in their name? Can't this group devote themselves to doing the work of Jesus by spreading peace and love instead of hate? They are so far removed from the notion of Christianity it is amazing. What pitiful lives they must lead.

Unfortunately Barney Frank had the best response to folks like the WBC'ers: "Trying to have a conversation with you would be like trying to argue with a dining room table".

Actually, I think my dining room table is better company!
