I know this isn't a question specific to tennis, but what the heck. Has anyone suffered from tennis elbow? I injured myself doing reverse grip tricep pressdowns about a month ago and my elbow feels stiff (cannot move too much without some kind of pain) and it sometimes really hurts to grip things.
I'm seeing a PT is a week, but does anyone have any suggested exercises?

I'm not sure you have tennis elbow. Tennis elbow is the degeneration of a tendon in the elbow, which is caused by the repetitive stress of hitting thousands and thousands of balls, whereas yours is a specific injury. I used to suffer from tennis elbow and tried all sorts of BS remedies. The only thing that ended up working was a plastic/rubber cuff that solved the problem instantly. I got so dependent on the darn thing that if I ever forgot it or lost it, my elbow screamed in pain. But anyway, I'd go whatever the PT tells you, unless the pain gets really bad, in which case I'd see a doctor.

Aquaman, I seem to recall you swim also. I severely injured my elbow tendon using handpaddles when I did pulling drills. (It was the outer tendon on the elbow, so it was technically "golfer's elbow.") The usual treatments worked--rest, ice, painkillers. I don't use handpaddles anymore ....
