In British English, there is a word for this, Colemanballs
(originally named by Private Eye magazine in honour of David Coleman, senior BBC sports commentator at many Olympics).
Google Colemanballs and you'll find many more for your collection

One of my favorites was during a Mets broadcast back in the late 80s....Ralph Kiner said leading into a commercial break "We'll be back after these words from Manufacturer's Hangover".
