I have been enamored with Lenny since the mid-90's. I put him as a #15 seed because I didn't think anyone else thought the guy was hot since his glory days in swimming "has past".
Don't forget if this OT session ends up in a tie, Burrell has the advantage of being the higher seed so he will move on!

all i feel comfortable saying is that i knew lenny from my swimming days. he is a man of tremendous fortitude.
he came back from a debilitating injury last year to make the olympic team, when he was considered washed up and finished in 2003. that takes guts and shows, in my opinion, the character of that guy. if anyone has ever met him, you would be blown away by both his work-ethic and his sincerity.

We've got a little more than an hour to go in Overtime and Lenny has increased his lead to 11.
You can hear Lenny fans chanting in te background "over-rated" clap, clap, clapclapclap "over-rated"....
Will that spark a surge in Burrell votes? If anyone has some skin shots of Burrell, you better post them now!
Poll closes at 11:59am.

i only found out about this site/board a few days back but do you guys have or have had these types of polls about other swimmers?
i was a former competitive swimmer both in college and beyond and this site has definitely peeked my curiosity about what may have gone on behind most of the swimmer's backs, unbeknownst to them/us.
i am very intrigued

Hey Bryant, welcome to Outsports! I'm gald you're having fun. Just jump right in & don't be shy.
We do have a hot swimmers thread.
Hot Swimmers I ran this King of the Hardwood competition two years ago, but didn't do one last year. I thought Bobby and others were going to string me up for not including Andy Grant! You can check out the other threads KOTH thread or click on the brackets to see how the competition has gone so far. And have fun.
Oh, and feel free to tell Lenny about the board!
He has a good shot at defeating Ausmus in the Sweet 16, but he's going to need all the "Vote Lenny T-Shirt" help he can get in defeating David Carr (if Carr defeats Gambill) in the Elite Eight.

Amen to that. It might be nice to vote in one of these competitions, but every time I click on what appears to be the most recent poll thread I find out the voting closed very shortly after it began.
So I guess opinions on player hotness only count if you have the discussion boards open 24/7 and are prepared to jump as soon as a new poll appears.

The voting periods have been 48 hours long, except for the overtime race. It's a tournament of 64, so there are a great deal of contests. If you kept voting open for like a week then the tourney would take forever. Also, the threads would probably drop down the list and disappear from some people's screens after those of us who read the site daily got done voting.
