Looks like senator Arango ran out of explanations for that photo and decided it's easier to resign.
Interesting that they choose to use a photo of him with Bill Clinton.
Wonder if Arango will have time now to re-think his position on gay marriage in Puerto Rico.

It amazes me that people seeking public office post imagine that they can post pictures of themselves on websites and that they won't be recognized and outed. We hear lots of rumors about hollywood celebrities and athletes who are closeted, but they all seem to have the sense not to post identifiable pictures of themselves on Grindr.

Someone in denial about science could easily have the same illusions about technology - which after all is based on science.
But I think the primary reason conservatives - like that New York state representative - post these things is that they probably have a subconscious desire to get caught.
Liberals - like Weiner - who do the same are just arrogant enough to have confidence that they can do it without getting caught, or their hubris allows them to assume they can survive the political fallout.

As far as I know Weiner did nothing illegal or unethical. The outrage was a commentary on his personal, private life.
