Last night I tried to register as a member, but I never received my validation email depsite checking my spam folder and insuring that my email settings allowed me to recieve email from all addresses.

I have a feeling that when I unchecked the box that said, "Receive email from Administrators," I disallowed myself from receiving my validation.

Just a thought. Maybe unchecking that box should not be an option until after one has registered?

*I was able to register today and I kept the box checked. However, I used a different email address (Yahoo) so I can't verify my hypothesis.
