Harrington has had a very good preseason. He's more than earned the starting job for the season opener. The offensive line has been, well, offensive.

as hot as he is and as nice of a guy as he is.... the stats I saw about his passing percentages (it's like one of the lowest in the NFL. right?) those numbers are benchable offenses.

Well considering that Garcia can't do much better, that whole Lion's offense is lost.

I think they should just get some fat guys from the crowd to fill in on the O-line. That center should seriously be ashamed of himself after last night's game vs. the Rams.

As for the beard, I don't mind it at all. I seem to recall that Brian Billick's beard was a bigger crime against nature.

To put in who, Jeff Garcia? Joey's still young. You have to give him a chance to play with all the talent the Lions have around them now, not base a decision on how he did the last couple of seasons when they had so many injuries to his best receivers. What will keep Harrington from succeeding the most will be the terrible defense and the porous offensive line.

Amen to that! I swear, Kevin Jones wasn't running for yards, he was just running for his life.

A quartback can only be as good as the team around him. If Detroit says bye-bye to Joey, a new quartback still has to deal with the lackluster team that is Detroit.

Thanks Illini! I was wondering if we'd ever get any fresh shots of Patrick Kerney and his bubblelicious butt in those white pants. It doesn't really rival the classic photos of him in the rain, but these come pretty close, especially the one of him drinking water from a hose and the drips of water trickles down his front. Sigh. Does anyone watch the NFL network?

They have this show on now called Sounds of the Game. After a few highlights of the games from the past Sunday, they usually show a clip of the post game speech from the head coach in the locker room.

You can always count on a few shirtless players milling around while the coach is talking.
