It may be worth travelling behind the Orange curtain this coming season now that the Angels have acquired some good pitching: Aaron Sele and Kevin Appier (and gotten rid of old, injury-prone Mo Vaughn.) It seems odd that of the two southern California teams, only the Angels have been active so far this off-season. Maybe the Big Ed will be the place to be next year.

Having went to both Dodgers and Angels games last year, you may be onto something Adam. Just think about the Dodgers infield last year (Beltre, Cora, Grudz, Karros, et al)... very offensively challenged.

About Troy Glaus, the kid's got power, but I wonder whether in his career he will be more like 2000 (.300 BA) or like 2001 (.250 BA)? He takes walks, which is a good sign...
