The biggest surprise would be if it actually became a remotely entertaining comic strip.
I was so convinced in my childhood fantasies that Archie and Reggie were a closeted gay couple that I thought the designers of this mural in the Brussels gay neighborhood must have read my mind when I saw it a few years ago:
I'll never forget it was around Christmastime and there was a ceremony being filmed at a relatively small gothic cathedral nearby and the sight of all those anachronistic power cables and camera equipment in this humble old chapel created a sort of comic atmosphere in itself.
And the camera man was cute enough to be right out of an episode of Archie.
In fact he looked a bit like Kevin.
