I am seriously considering a move to south Florida.
I grew up in Palm Beach County, but have mostly been away for many years since finishing college.
I have been at the same job in a rural part of Tennessee since finishing college.
I just don't feel I can take being closeted in rural Tennessee any more. I don't want to wait until I am retired to get out of rural Tennessee.
My parents are still in Palm Beach County. I very much enjoy Fort Lauderdale when I am home in south Florida.
Have any of you guys made the move from another state to south Florida?
What do you guys who live in south Florida think about it right now?
Thanks.

I moved here 18 years ago and love it!
I like being able to be out without worries.....
Our social circle has gays, straights, older and younger, and I am enriched for all the diversity....
We are in the SW suburbs of Miami, and have no problems here....I do know some people who have lived here awhile who don't like all the changes, but aside from traffic during season, I got no complaints....
