So what does everyone think? Should/Will Bush have to give back his trophy? Does it make a difference?

What a mess USC has created for itself.

I hope they take it back. Maybe make a strong statement to future players that want to live the high life and think they'll be no ramifications. Just too bad no legal action could also be taken against Bush and his parents.

I'm not surprised by the 2 year postseason ban but I didn't think a total of 30 scholarships would be lost...I thought maybe 15-20 at most...

However, Reggie Bush and his family screwed over USC and these sanctions will impact USC. We will have to see what happens with JRs and SRs cause they can transfer w/o any penalty - except w/in Pac-10...they will have to sit out a year but they can transfer to any other school and be eligible to play right away cause USC is on a postseason ban.

The poor recruits at USC in both basketball and football are paying for what happened before most even got there. I do hope they get the trophy back from Reggie.
This also hurts the rest of the Pac-10 as now an "unranked" USC loss can look pretty bad in their resume

will it hurt other schools' SOS because USC can't be ranked?

didn't quite understand that

I don't think USC being on probation has any effect on their opponents should they lose to them. As far as polls go, most coaches will probably have a mental ranking of USC (or use the AP as a barometer), so they'll drop a team accordingly. As far as computers go, the computers should still have SC in there for accuracy purposes, but I donno if the BCS will keep them in there and not count them or do that but bump everyone up a spot in lieu of the Trojans not being there.
WSU Cougars
USC will remove all memorabilia of Mayo and Bush in their athletic dept and will send Reggie's Heisman Trophy back to the Heisman Trophy Club in NY.
