I hesitate to quote such tawdry and unreliable sources but...there is some former porn star who says that Jen's "accidental" overdose may be related to his breakup with her. True or not, Jen was said to be struggling with depression. Poor Jen. Raised on nothing but tennis as a child and it seems she's never found anything else in her life.

That sucks for Jenny, I hope she gets things together.

This article really says it all. I think Jenn's personality made her a somewhat polarizing figure on the Tour, but I always admired her incredible fight on the tennis court. She truly feared no opponent. I hope she puts half that determination into finding a new path for herself, and I hope some of the parasites who fed off her success - both initially and after her renaissance - find a way to help her.

Certainly a cautionary tale for any parent with $$$ in their eyes trying to push their kids into professional sports at an early age.
