In order to start the Elite Eight on Wednesday at 12:01am, I am moving the Sweet 16 voting up three hours.
Therefore, Sweet 16 voting starts on Sunday at 9:00pm pst and ends on Tuesday at 9:00pm pst. This will give me time to post the Elite Eight before I go to bed and allows the Elite Eight competition to begin at 12:01am Wednesday.
Vote for one in each match-up.
Good Luck!

I am definitely the anti-Roddick. He should have been gone in the first two rounds. I am voting against him no matter what or who is up against him. The cricket player in the first round wasn't even looked at I bet by even 1/3 of those people voting

I also have to state that Joey is going a bit further than he should be... PLEASE, people- looks at the pictures and not just the names!!! Please!

No Way should Owen (who is admittedly scorching HOT) be leading Tom Brady.
Is that some sort of belated April Fools joke?

So unfortunate that Vinitiari and Cohen are in the same bracket. Those two are finalists in my book.

I think Bloom is overrated and JT is just the man to take him down. Jason Taylor is flawless. And did I mention he's 6'6" 255 pounds? It's rare to see a man that beautiful and that large!

Brad vs Brodie is very tough. Classic American vs. Classic Euro-Aussie.

Some relatively close races so far, though how Pat Burrell could be losing is a head-scratcher. Of course, I voted under duress as no hockey players made it this far. wink

I am rather surprised that Ausmus leads Holland 43-29. I thought this one would be a tight race.
And Kyle Boller is an enigma to me. Hardly anybody ever talks about him, yet he keeps winning his match-ups!
Owen vs Brady = Captain England vs. Captain America.

I'm predicting a Michalak-Bloom final. Joey might be able to stop Bloom, but Jeremy is just so hot.

Freddie against Bloom? That's a no brainer. Freddie will take the crown if it comes to those two.
Bloom may have a nice body, but Freddie's mouth, butt, and body surpasses Bloom's. Not to mention that Freddie doesn't mind taking homoerotic pictures.

Yea! I know I am in the minority on this one too, but I never found Brady all that good looking. He always looks kind of caveman-ish to me.
Owen, OTOH, is completely adorable....

Last day to vote in the Sweet 16. Voting ends at 9:00pm tonight.
A couple of races are still up in the air.
Owen has stretched his lead over Brady to 12.
Harrington continues to lead Gambill but his lead is down to 8.
And after being down by double digits, Andy Roddick is making his charge and trails Boller by 4.
And with a 42 vote lead, it appears Bloom is one step closer to a three-peat...much to the chagrin of a certain Jim!
Elite Eight voting starts at 12:01am Wednesday.

I don't get how Ben Cohen can be so solidly beating Adam V. Not by a long shot in my book, but so it goes.

Roddick & Boller tie!
I guess we have to go into overtime. I need to start a separate thread for this one.
Tie breaker voting will run from 9:15 tonight until 915am tomorrow.
Due to the tie, the Elite Eight voting will now begin at noon Wednesday and run until 1159 am on Friday.

Boring. All the faves win again (save for the tiebreaker). It's obvious Bloom will win again.

The Bulls winning all those years was boring too. But that's how it went. No one retired them but the competition.

It would be different if just Bloom was returning, but it pretty much is the same Final 8 as last year. Its good to know MDB seeds well and we consistently think the same men are hot.
But it is an awfully narrow scope of diversity and name that people are voting for. I'm just primarily disappointed on that aspect.

hey, I didn't see the tiebreak. Maybe I should look harder for the thread, but cutting it off so early didn't give people coming to work this am time to vote.
