Hey there. Is anyone here into RP online, and if so...where do they play?

By RP, I actually mean more of the 'old school' text-based RPGs or MU*s, rather than WoW or the more recent graphics-intense ones.

Be warned... the game's 'theme' is -very- sexual... but... the theme is not enforced. I.e., it is a place where any 2 folks could come up with their own RPG story, set in any world. I like it because it's pretty user friendly, and as long as you can type a paragraph, 2 people can do whatever they want.

Anyway, just wondered if there were any other gay nerds out there and if so...what part of the RPG universe did they hang out in?

I was actually running a play-by-post Rolemaster game at www.rpgrm.com, but it's kkind of moribund now. It's a site devoted to non d20 pen & paper games.

My own game was set in a alternative fantasy version of 7th century Italy (when it was split between the Byzantines & the Lombards), with a heavy influence of Guy Gavriel Kay novels.

What the hell are you people talking about, and what do all these acronyms stand for?

RPG = Reporting Program Language on IBM 360 mainframes from the late 1960's - early 1970's?

Umm...RPG in this context means roleplaying game--of the Dungeons & Dragons variety. Quite different from the sort of roleplaying referred to on Manhunt.
