Just giving this a bump up since voting has started.

The Brees/Crosby match-up is very intriguing.

Crosby is friggin HAWT!!!!!!!

Naohiro is cute.

Go Jason Taylor. I like that he has 94 percent.

Marat Safin is attractive. I loved his GQ spread some time back.

Roddick over Sachin Tendulkar? Give me a break - Roddick might only win because he is so much better known, but Sachin Tendulkar is MUCH hotter.

I'm only disappointed in the strong disparity in the voting in this region.

I think people are going strictly by names.

If they looked at the pictures of some of the lesser named athletes- there should be a lot closer voting in some of these pair-ups.

Nice diversity in this group, MDB. I hope it shows in the votes.

A lot of this is based on the known, and I guess most people don't bother to look at the newbies. Blame Diebold! wink

Both hockey guys, Sidney Crosby and Joe Sakic (swoon!) are going down to defeat to lesser men. Last season's lockout has a whole lot to answer for.

I think I voted for Sakic, but had never heard of him before. Not a hockey fan.

I voted Tendulkar. When I first saw him, my eyes bugged out. Wow. And we need some cricket representation!

I too voted Tendulkar. And I think Andy's a handsome guy.

I do not understand the fascination with Jeremy Bloom. I mean, his body is very nice, obviously. But that he's steamrolling towards a three-peat boggles my mind. I voted against him in protest. ha ha.

I'm surprised at how few people have voted in this round. Usually we're over 100 by day 2. C'mon people vote.

Vote totals have gone from 181 to 165 to 137 to 94 (so far in this round). Wonder why people are disappearing?

It was the lead story for the first regional, and is no longer.

Also, my sense is that perhaps people would like to vote in all regions at once (like they do in a real NCAA pool).

I totally agree! With the exception of 2 or 3, I actually voted for the lower seeds in this region as they were definitely better looking.

Add me to the list of those that don't get it when it comes to Jeremy Bloom and Andy Roddick. They are no baby daddy!

Wow, in scanning over the remaining 32 contestants, there will be some very intriguing match-ups next week.

We may not see many blow out wins like we did in round 1.

Each match-up will be difficult for me.
