Just watched the Yankees lose to the Orioles in bottom on ninth with a walk. Lousy But I got a good look at the Orioles and waht a good looking team! Markakis,Roberts,Gomez,Tejada and especially Corey patterson. great looking guys!

Speaking of sexy... Craig Biggio has just reached the 3000 hit club, the 27th player to do so. he was really emotional about it. and thanked everyone including the fans of Houston. He's a GOD, in my book. So much better than that loser in SF.

Although I am a St. Louis Cardinals fan, I have always thought Craig Biggio is a very good-looking man. And, I bet Craig is the best-looking man of all of the 27 players, who have reached the high plateau of professional baseball performance by obtaining his 3000th hit. Craig wears his years graciously, with good grooming and a cute smile.

NEW YORK -- When Oliver Perez was continuing his dominance of the Braves earlier this year, he wasn't being challenged by what has arguably become the National League's best lineup, and he certainly wasn't having to deal with what has definitely become a dangerous Jeff Francoeur.
While Braves manager Bobby Cox might be downplaying the significance of this week's three-game series against the Mets, it's obvious that Francoeur came to New York with a purpose and, more importantly, his red-hot bat.

"He's so good right now," Cox said after Francoeur's four-hit performance led the Braves to a convincing 7-3 series-opening win over the Mets at Shea Stadium on Tuesday night.

With Francoeur finishing a triple short of the cycle, Buddy Carlyle being his usually effective self and the effective work of a new and improved bullpen, the Braves won for the seventh time in 10 games against the Mets this year. They now trail the Mets by 3 1/2 games in the National League East standings and have the benefit of sending John Smoltz and Tim Hudson to the mound in the final two games of this three-game series.

"It doesn't by any means mean we're going to win the series," said Chipper Jones, whose two-hit night included a seventh-inning triple. "The next two days are going to be wars."
