I think this South Georgia Peanuts baseball team broadcaster is pretty cute.

"(March 21, 2007) When it rains, it pours. After spending the entire winter looking for a minor league baseball job, STAA client Matt Pauley received two offers simultaneously. He has accepted the position of Director of Broadcasting/Media Relations with the South Georgia Peanuts of the South Coast League.
Pauley will call all 90 Peanuts games, home and away."
The Peanuts had a really good fight recently at one of their games.
"July 21, 2007 The South Georgia Peanuts decided not to return to the field to finish their game, down 12-2, and forfeit after brawling with the Macon Music, reports Fox Sports.
Wally Backman, manager of the Peanuts, was ejected earlier in the game. The Peanuts were upset that Casey Garrison, of the Music, swung at a 3-0 pitch and drove in a run, with the Music already up 9 runs. The next batter Carlos Arroyo was able to get out of the way of two pitches until the third one hit him, at which time both benches emptied and players began to fight.
...wally loved a good scrap when he was running with the wild boys of 86...i've got this mental image of Charlie Brown on the mound, getting upended by the Macon Music over and over again when i think of the South Georgia Peanuts...
...i wonder if they're still filming that documentary they were doing on wally and the peanuts...seems to be turning out to be a pretty eventful little movie if they are..."
