I think Tony Soprano is cute in a bear kind of way. I think that it is the way that he does his mouth when he talks. I just imagine him to have one of the hairest, palest bums in the world.

interesting point y'all make here, because I have long been aware that my favorite guys have tended to have a chub on them. i.e. James Gandolfini has the style to match his cajones so that makes him sexy regardless of what his body shape is. let's face it, he's a fat man, but it's all in the attitude. (btw, if he were my fat man, he wouldn't be fat for long. I'd leave a little bit of gut on him, but I'd make him leaner.

another interesting case in point is Clemens: cajones + style = sexy. (anybody catch him on letterman recently? I nearly passed out from the heat coming off my tv).

finally - Dave Matthews: he has more of what I would call a teddy bear factor. I work with a guy who is the sweetest young guy you'd ever know. He's big and furry, and not particularly in shape, but definetely the kind of guy you'd want to spend all day hugging/feeling up.

So I say Amen, to the chubby guys. they are as deserving if not more deserving than the guys who are quote-unquote perfect.

Well, well it is about time us chubby guys got our due. Healthy is always sexy, but you can be sexy and chubby, it is all about attitude, just finding your real self. Personally, I think being nice is not a bad deal. I am sometimes totally surprised by the hot guys who flirt with me. I think the real key is self acceptance however.... Personally, I think Garth Brooks,and Kevin James are very attractive men. See more and more chubby guys in television advertising too. Go Bears.

Yeah, Kevin James is attractive. Andruw Jones is attractive despite getting chubby. His butt is huge.

Can't say I'm particularly into chubby guys, but I sure prefer a little chubby over that weird, artificial "I spend most waking moments at the gym" look.
Any way, this is kind of an obscure reference but there's one chubby guy who I think is just really sexy. He's on an advertisement for the Sleep Number beds of all things. There's a black man with his wife on the bed and he's wearing a t-shirt and boxer-briefs and their discussing their sleep numbers. Don't know what it is but I think he's cute as hell!

My partner calls it "beefy" not chubby. There is a difference.

I was referring to both, which is why I pulled those two from your quote. Gandolfini I just don't get either... ugly, fat (forget chubby, he's beyond that) and no redeeming personality traits (well, at least on the show). My ex thinks he's hot, I just think he's nasty. Yes, to each his own.

I don't watch King of Queens, but I did come across it on TV the other day, so I watched to see this black guy you mentioned... nice face, could stand to lose a few pounds, but not a bad looking guy. The white guy (Kevin James)... I just don't see it. Again, my ex likes him. But then, I always said he had no taste when it came to men. Yes, I'm aware of the irony of that statement. LOL

Yes it is, but it isn't a very good pic...The guy must have 20 inch biceps, and looks pretty darn furry. Just massive!

Paul, Sr from American Chopper on the Discovery Channel. HUGE, tall musclebear. Must be in the 250 lbs range, and very muscular. Has an odd facial hair thing going on, tho....
