Full Version: Where's the best seat to watch a hockey game?

I don't go to many hockey games. So I want to know where's the best seat to catch all the action. Way up high? By the glass? In the middle?

It really depends on the size of the building and your own personal preferences. You should sit by the glass if you want to be thisclose when players crash into it. To see all of the action most clearly it's better to sit away from the glass. If you want an equal view of the action at both ends of the ice (or to approximate the typical view on TV) you'd need to sit near center ice. If you're way up, though, it's not bad if you're behind one of the goals.

Thanks Joe. I did get Center Ice tickets. I've had nose bleed tickets and tickets behind the goal before. So I'm looking forward to these seats and what kind of action I'll catch.
