Yes dammit!!! I got sucked into it and I was totally into it after swearing I wouldn't wake up early to watch it live. All the pomp and circumstance and tradition made it something I was glad I got to see live and now I understand all of the hoopla when Charles and Diana got married. It was actually a really nice ceremony and Kate's Alexander McQueen dress was beautiful. I think she's really pretty. Any women I've been attracted to always had that Ralph Lauren kind of look and she reminds me of that.

Anywho...forget William and Kate...James Middleton is rather dashing!! Its so funny because when I later went onto google him apparently many think he's gay because "James Middleton gay" automatically came up on google. Link below talks about it. I think he's Kate Middleton's half brother. This is what I was reading online. I know the family spent some time in Jordan before moving to the UK and he does have that gorgeous Middle Eastern olive skin tone vibe going. Maybe he's just very aristocratic but apparently twitter lit up as soon as he opened his mouth with people wondering if he was gay.

Here't the link with picture about him and the immediate gay questions.

Google search suggests "James Middleton gay"

Kate certainly was a lovely bride in such a beautiful gown!

I normally get up at 6 am and that was perfect timing to see Kate in the car on the way to Westminster Abbey. She looked lovely. Her sister Pippa, the maid of honour, looked gorgeous, and her mother and father are very attractive, too. Everyone seemed to be well-dressed and well behaved. Lots of wonderful hats on the ladies. David Beckham looked splendid (whereas Posh looked dour).

It seems he's an entrepreneur of sorts and runs a cake business.

For Kate’s younger brother has seen his upmarket bakery business, Cake Kit Company, take off in recent months.

For his part, James Middleton is keen to emphasise that he has been working hard since dropping out of university four years ago. He told The Daily Telegraph: “Last year we were nominated for four business awards: we won the Smarta 100 and the Haines Watts Young Entrepreneur Awards; we were a finalist in the Enterprising Young Brits; and nominated for the HSBC Start-Up Stars. This shows the success of [Cake Kit] so far – especially as we launched during a recession.

“The business has grown significantly in the last three years. The awards will give you some indication of our progress and potential as a business viewed through the eyes of the select judging panel. There is no doubt that I want to grow in all areas of business.” He also told Hello! magazine: “I often work 14-hour days but the job is very fulfilling. I love being my own boss.”

There have been other alarming incidents, not least pictures on the internet of James partying in one of his sister’s dresses. ohmy.gif Another shows James – described by friends as “flamboyant” wink.gif – apparently naked, but for a strategically placed bottle of beer. ohmy.gif A third shows him dressed in a French maid’s uniform and stockings, grasping his crotch. ohmy.gif

Last month, he put a risqué photograph on his Facebook page showing four men, backs to camera, with their trousers around their ankles and bottoms on show standing on a country road called Back Lane.

I was kind of hoping for a Runaway Bride scenario. Imagine the media! And I thought it was really sweet of Wills to include Camilla in the wedding, even if it was only to pull the carriage. And good thing Trump wasn't invited...when the bishop asked if anyone knew any reason why these two should ot be marrie, he probably would have insisted on seeing Kate's birh certificate.

So are there better pics than this screen cap of Gareth Thomas going stag to the wedding?

My partner thought I'd find James cute. NOT...but quite sexy that he seems open-minded and down-to-earth. He apparently read confidently at the wedding.

I missed the whole wedding thing but after hearing that the music was well-chosen and performed I may watch one of the endless replays for that alone.

And don't forget the hats! Some photos from the Daily Mirror:

Personally, I loved Princess Beatrice's ribbon/octopus hat: it seems to defy all notions of rationality and gravity.

..not to mention defying all notions of taste IMO. laugh.gif Looks like one of those aliens from Torchwood is drilling into her brain. Quick, call Jack Harkness!!!

Thanks SFD, for that photo of Thomas. Wonder if he'll keep that in the closet for his own wedding, and invite the Prince and Kate. wink.gif Or do the grooms traditionally have to wear black?

Here's a list of all the athletes who attended the wedding. A couple of surprises, for me at least: Ian Thorpe appears to be the only Aussie athlete with princely connections; and an Irish rugger, Brian O'Driscoll checked etiquette to be sure it was ok to send his wife alone since he was preparing for a Heineken Cup semi-final in which Leinster would defeat Toulouse.

Well, there might be a future Queen Consort in the UK, but there are plenty of Drag Queens in Key West with their own Page Boys!!!!! laugh.gif

The music was amazing. Its all available on iTunes as well. I've downloaded a few songs. My favorite is "I Was Glad" to which she walked down the aisle. I've always loved that song. It has really dramatic and angelic parts and Westminster Abbey is the perfect locale for such a song to really show its beauty. She did a very good job with picking the music.

I didn't love the dress; I think it was the neckline that I just didn't care for
