I don't feel as strongly about this group. I placed my votes and am still having fun, but just not as invested in the guys. I am intrigued by Pat Burrell vs. Kelly Slater. Now, I think Burrell is good looking and had thought I would vote for him ... until I clicked and actually saw Kelly Slater. Yowza! That is one good looking man.

I feel like the Philly connection on this board is too strong to overcome, but by rights, I gotta say there's no way Burrell beats Slater. Sorry, Joe!

Also surprised that Becks doesn't have a bigger lead ...

I'm nervous about this region because my favorite guy (as you can tell by the amount of pictures I ahve of him) Koji Murofushi is in this region. I am in love with this manly man. I only wish I found shirtless pictures. He has huge thighs and solid guns. He's a drean. And he could be the first Asian guy to move on!

MDB, I'm spell-bounded by Koji since you mentioned him awhile back. He seems like such a stud. I wonder what he's like when he talks? Although, he probably wouldn't be talking too much in bed.

I actually have a video of Koji speaking in Japanese. He was one of the special guests on a Japanese music program that I watch and he opened the show. That's how I first noticed him. He was wearing a suit and looked mighty fine. He's 6'2 so that's tall for Japanese. And his voice matched his look!

His sister is also an athlete and she's very pretty.

I think the surprise of this Region so far is Lenny Krayzelburg and how he's keeping up with Becks.

I was disappointed to see Gambill vs. Scott...I like both of them a whole lot and would have voted for both of them in separate contests. For the overall package and sex appeal, I voted Gambill. Very tough decision for me...

I guess I'm also one of the few on here who doesn't find many baseball stars attractive...outside of A-Rod ("handsome" is an insult...he's so much more physically), there aren't many baseball players that make me go "wow".

MDB, what are you doing to me? Something told me not to look at the Koji picture. Now, I had to place my vote for him. I have been a Peja fan for some time. I unfortunately had to vote against him.

I guess I severely underestimated Lenny Krayzelburg. I had no clue that he would be running neck and neck with Becks. We're talking David Beckham here!

The other Brit, Jamie Staff is giving Urlacher a run for his money.

Mike Alstott is rather under-represented in his pics. But that doesn't seem to have an effect!

I sometimes think I'm the only person in this whole world who is not mesmerized, captivated, and awestruck by David Beckham. I've never seen what all the fuss is about him. I'd take Lanky Lenny anyday.

And I'm a Koji fan, too, ever since those earlier pics were posted.

It's Day 2 of voting and it looks like there are two match-ups that are still tight.

Murofushi holds on to his lead over Stojakovic while Krayzelburg continues his bid for a major upset as he holds a slight lead over Becks.

We've got a major upset brewing as Lenny has stretched out his lead over Bechkam to 34 - 29. Becks won the "hotest male" competition that ESPN Page 2 ran a couple of weeks ago. He was also a Final Four guy in the 2003 KOTH competition.

The other question are, will David Carr exceed 60 and will Felix Sanchez reach at least 10 votes? I guess Felix's bulge isn't helping him at all.

barring a sudden increase in turnout and most of that late vote going Beckham's way, the race is over. Therefore, based on polling projections the JIP network is declaring Lenny the upset winner.
