Hmmmm.. this was already mentioned in the skating and Non-Sports topics, but since I think he looks hot, can I also mention it here?
John Zimmerman -- the best looking man to ever skate in leather pants and/or tight jeans -- will be the subject on Queer Eye next week (March 9th/Bravo).
You decide: does he need a make over?

I think Zimmerman is just FINE the way he is!!!
Although in the preview for that show, he's got some JACK UP feet. But I guess that's to be expected for a figure skater. The rest of him is just lovely (and I don't even particularly go for big-haired blonds)!

ok... so this guy is great looking, obviously works out and is in great shape, knows fluent figure-skater-ese, and has modeled for Barney's.
Just HOW does he need help from those five queens?
The only thing that could do for him is wash the dishes in his sink. what else is there they can help him with?

I must agree with Ung. Surely there are straight guys who really need "help" who aren't looking for performing careers. I don't blame Warren the composer for using the show. Where else would he get such an opportunity? But, enough already. Back to the unibrow "every"-men, please.

He is a total stud... but the man's house looked like shit. And why would you have the Olympic torch just laying around? LOL.
All I know is they better not let Kyan touch his hair.

They left the long hair, and he (naturally) looked pretty great in all the clothes they put on him. A few more shots of him changing in the dressing room would have gotten no complaints either. They could have made it a "special 90-minute episode" by filling it out with another half-hour of footage of him undressing and taking that bubble bath!
My only dissapointment: when you have idolized someone for their looks and athleticism (and even artistry in skating), hearing them speak can take away some of the glamour you've built around their image in your head. Has anyone else had that happen the first time they heard an interview of an amazing athlete who just doesn't come off as being very swift, or at least not too good at putting things into words when on camera?

OMG, yes. He's not my idol, but Jason Varitek oozed tough-guy masculinity...until I heard him in a post-game interview. How could such a thin, wussy voice come out of that thick, meaty body?

Do you guys know when/if this episode will air again? I missed it. I remember them replaying past episodes recently but I'm not sure.

I read "...skate in leather pants" and I immediately perk up (no pun intended). Are there any images of this hunk in his leather? Man, I love figure skating for that - Brian Joubert in his Matrix costume, Alexei Urmanov in those leather pants...if only you could have other athletes dress similarly. I know it's hot out on that tennis court, but would it kill Juan Carlos Ferrero to run around in leather? And yes, it might look funny on the field, but how about a few baseball players in leather? Marco Scutaro, Barry Zito, Shawn Green...
