This writer says that, with the labor unrest that will almost undoubtedly interrupt the season, we shouldn't even show up this year. Agree? Disagree?
Don't give 'em your moneyI tend to agree, but I won't be following his advice. I'll be at the Phillies home opener Friday and I'm sure I'll be catching a few games at Camden Yards.

Until they do something boneheaded -- like a play stoppage -- I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. Silly me.
MLB badly needs a tune up. Lots of things need to be fixed. But as long as they are out there playing, I'll be there. A strike/walkout/lockout/whatever will really p*** me off, but until they do it....I'm there.
Sam Dunellon's the type of person who would end a relationship just before he fell in love so he wouldn't get hurt.

I'm not sure how old Sam Donnellon is, and I'm not sure how old you are, raysnjays. But I'm turning 40 in 2 weeks. In my lifetime there have been at least 4 work stoppages, including two major ones: the 2-month strike in 1981 and the 1994 debacle. So using your analogy, baseball is a guy I've fallen in love with, and he's cheated on me at least 4 times. Twice he cheated long-term. Yet he keeps coming back begging my forgiveness. How many times am I supposed to take him back?
