I'm obviously in the minority, but I don't see how there is such a gap between Javy and Wade. I think Wade is gorgeous and even though he doesn't have a shirtless pic up, I'm guessing has a much better body than Javy.

Seriously look around this sight, black men are the majority in a number of sports but yet how many black men get named when it comes to "the hottest this" or "best looking that".

I personally find black men much more attractive then white/asian/indian etc. but understand that others don't. It doesn't bother me when I see threads talking about the hottest basketball players and very few black men get named. If I cared enough I would spend time looking for pictures of my personal favorites (which will tend to be mostly black men) and be posting them. I have always said to each his own, and for the majority that isn’t going to be black men.

I was stating an opinion that I felt is the truth, sorry if you view me as crying racism. I would assume most people on this board are white and therefore are attracted to white men/light skinned men, not everyone but the majority. Therefore it isn't surprising to me to see AI (who I personally think is the hottest thing in sports these days) get like 3 votes and wade getting blown out in this competition.

Maybe I am wrong and the fact that they are black has nothing to do with it but after being on these boards a long time I just get the feeling that most members here (at least the ones that post) have more of an attraction to lighter skinned/white men. No big deal I was just trying to give what I thought was the best explanation to the question posed.

What Sparty said. And, if the white voters were to be politically correct so as to avoid the impression of racism, and vote for black athletes, that would be denying our attractions! Everyone using this board would have thoughts on THAT topic.

So the black-result is unfortunate, but inevitable, and hardly racist, in the negative sense of the term.

I don't think there is any intended racism here, especially when asking individuals to vote, and the votes are tallied, and the results are revealed.

Point taken, sparty. But I think you should have explained that in your original post instead of just saying "Wade is black."

You could make a better argument, in my opinion, with the Brodie Holland vs. Dain Blanton bracket. Blanton is sexier hands down.
