As a hardcore Terp, I am also a converted Notre Dame and Brady Quinn fan, as long as he plays for Notre Dame. Hopefully the Terps and the Irish will have great seasons next year and will play each other for the National Championship. I also hope that Brady wins the Heismann and goes on to have brilliant pro and modeling careers.

Jeepers I haven't heard talk like that since the second year I was at Maryland. We won the ACC that year but I was too busy "coming of age" to notice. Kudos to you Brett. And the best of luck to the current crop of Terps. They'll need it.

Just noticed some interesting terrapiniana in the history links too. Terps had the first African-American player in the ACC in both basketball and football. Whether the ACC is the best basketball conference or not is always going to be debatable. But those statistics will never change.
