No, I have not met Tim Tebow. Yes, I do have reason to believe that he is homophobic, judging from the rhetoric that has come from his father's church. I have never heard Tebow say anything to separate himself from that. No, I do not believe that those who are religious per se are anti-gay. I am a practicing Catholic. There is a great gulf that separates the official church from the popular one. Nonetheless, I am well aware of how I, as a gay man, am viewed by my own church. The Evangelical church, to which Tebow adheres, is, just as, if not more homophobic than the Roman Catholic Church. Tebow has stated publicly how he wants to "save himself for marriage." Do you really think that he will support such gay causes as same-sex marriage, which to me, is simply equal protection under the law?

Tebow has every right to be motivated by his religion. It may inspire him to help others, as the article in SI pointed out. More power to him for that! And I defend his right to proclaim his faith loudly! But don't delude yourself...Tebow is no friend of our community!

My admiration of Tebow is on a very superficial level: I enjoy looking at photos of him in various stages of dress and undress, as he has a nice body that just about all athletes have as well as a nice-looking face to go with it. I don't know what his views are on our community, but if it turns out he is anti-gay, then I believe I can separate his views from his physical image/athletic ability.

Most here probably know one of my favorite athletes is Jake Locker, who the media has dubbed "The Tebow of the West." Not just in how he plays the game (run first dual-threat QB), but in how both live their lives off the field and their beliefs in doing good as they see it.

Well seeing as I am a huge Husky fan, most of my fanaticism is focused on those players, the central figure of which is Locker. I don't really go in search of players from other teams as that is not my expertise. I leave it to the Tebow/McCoy/other fans to share their images of those athletes for my and others' enjoyment.

Alright SCTrojan beat me to it. I'm not gonna lie, Locker is pretty cute, but EVERY SINGLE YEAR since he has been at UW there's been countless posts that fill up most of the pages here and with very little progress of being a hotter picture throughout the years. Just about every post that does not have to do with him gets a reply that has several pictures of him. I know what his face looks like, I don't need to see it in 10 different angles every other post.

Sark has put on a few pounds since taking on the hard task of turning around an 0-12 team. Long grueling hours of film and trying to devise ways of scoring points when your offensive line consists of putty or walk-ons.

As for McCoy and Shipley, yes those are great butts! However, I'm not too fond of Shipley's mug (just like some aren't into Cutler - but again, it's a matter of taste), but I must say that Colt has really grown on me.

At first, I thought he had a butterface and a really great ass, but he's starting to look attractive to me. Maybe it's because I'm super-imposing that firm, see-through-white-pants derriere of his onto his face, but whatever it's working.

You hit the nail on the head about how Mr. McCoy and Mr. Shipley look as far as their butts are concerned. I do have to agree with you about how Colt used to look compared to how he looks today. When he was a freshmen, he was just average in my opinion. The reason I say that is because I never knew what kind of person he was off the field until his sophomore season in terms of those missionary trips he participates in during the off season as well as other things he does to help people. With that said, yes he's a LOT more attractive now than he was three years ago. The philosophy of "looking better as you get older" really is an example of Colt. Those beautiful blue eyes and that pearly white smile just makes me melt! And to top it off Colt is a great person with a charming personality and he will go a long way in life. As for is long time buddy Jordan, I think he's a great person to be around as well and like Colt, I bet he'll give you the shirt off his back. It's all well and good that these guys get all the recognition because of their rumps but I just wanted to make some points on how they are on the inside.

Thanks seribeye, being up in the upper-left-most corner of the country I don't get as much info on these players (Tebow's the exception as he's constantly on ESPN) or if I do during games I tend to tune it out as announcers annoy the heck out of me.

I enjoy and admire beautiful, toned, athletic bodies but I also appreciate players who live their lives as best they see it, and who go out of their way to contribute to their communities.

I've noticed Colt has that little boy face and quality to him (not in a bad way). He certainly has a big boy butt and body, that's for sure!

I agree, they spend entirely too much time talking about Tim Tebow like there are not any other dominant players in college football. Don't get me wrong Tim has had a phenomenal career at UF but don't spend 45 minutes of only an hour show talking about him and nobody else, it's not right. Unfortunately the Gator players are the subject of a lot of "conspiracy theory" speculation since being involved with, among other things, some questionable calls that I mentioned in another thread, concerning the 23-20 win over the Razorbacks. The missed interference committed by Cooper was one I noticed because of course I was following him like a hawk:But I didn't see the game against the Tigers in which the author claims Cooper and the Gators were the beneficiaries of another missed call.I'm really wondering whether this is going to affect the future of some of the Gators' players. They may have no control over the refereeing but they also have no control over whether scouts think they are not as good - as individual players - as their record indicates due to the favoritism shown by SEC refs, to the team, just to garner a BCS national championship for the conference.

Maybe Riley could claim mitigating circumstances:
