I honestly didn't recognize him when I turned on the TV. Then he said something about being with the Mets and I was like, "Oh, Todd! So good to see you!"

He still looks good, but could benefit from a haircut.

Todd Zeile is quite the hottie. I used to live in St. Louis, and had the opportunity to run into him at the grocery store one Sunday when he played for the team.

One of the interesting things about Todd and St. Louis is a rumor that circulated widely following his departure. I have heard this rumor (totally unsubstantiated as far as I know) from several different friends/acquaintances over a period of time. There is a consistency to what everyone has heard.

Anyway, Todd was traded rather abruptly from the Cardinals. This came as a surprise as he was a strong player who seemed to have a long future with the club. A short time after his departure, people started talking about why they heard he was dealt away.

The rumor was that Todd and broadcaster Joe Buck (this was prior to Joe becoming a nationally recognized sportscaster) had developed a romantic relationship, and Joe was discovered in Todd's hotel room while on the road. Joe is the son of the now deceased Cardinal icon Jack Buck, so the team decided that Todd needed to be sent away. St. Louis is a very conservative city, and the team owners were not going to have a scandal involving a star player and the team's primary broadcaster's son.

Again, this was never proven, but people from many different circles heard very similar stories. Cardinals fans were very curious because Todd seemed like a player who would spend most of his career with the club.

He was shown riding his hog and then shirtless when he took at kid to a water theme park. Nice hairy chest on him. Not verry hairy ( ), but enough to be hot.

Regarding his hair, well I think it could do with a better do (that not I care about things like that), but because I liked it better when he was in baseball.

I find that one rather doubtful, especially considering Zeile has been in a high profile marriage with former Olympic gymnast Julianne McNamara for more than 15 years. The rumor was probably some piece of fiction made up by Cubs fans.
