If you don't like what's posted at the HOT JOCK FORUM, then don't open it! You do not need to go through here (HOT JOCK TALK) to get to the sports-related forums. That's why this forum is 14th link in the line-up of furums on the board's homepage. All of the aboves one befor the HOT JOCK TALK are sport-related forums.

And btw the way, I do have a life - well, something that looks like it. Boyfriend, well I don't have one - yet. I don't spend all day infront of my computer or on the Web looking at/for pictures. I'm good at finding pictures (if I may blow my own horn), I mean I'd like to think so, and that's why I post them here. You have the right to not open this forum. What you don't have is the right to complain about, when you know you don't need to open this forum.
For those who weren't here yesterday, let me explain: I click on Today's Active Topics when I come here, not the main board. Yesterday, there were I don't know how many new threads started by Tommy which consisted of 1 post with a couple pictures, all of which could have been added onto existing threads. So not only were there a bunch of new threads started by him, but then the moderators closed them and moved them to existing threads, at which point all the closed threads and newly updated threads showed up as active. Yeah, that was annoying as hell. Can I search through and skip the ones I don't care about to get to ones I do? Of course, and I did, but I still have the right (regardless of Sterlingman insisting I don't) to bitch about it.

I think Tommy's been here long enough to know how to post, and based on the amount of new threads he started, he had enough time on his hands to search for older threads that he could've used, rather than being lazy and just starting up new ones. He's certainly familiar enough with the Hot Jock forum to realize there are plenty of existing threads out there.

P.S. I didn't tell anyone to go out looking for love or a life or a boyfriend. I just told Tommy to go get laid. I guess looking at pictures all day does something to one's reading comprehension skills.

P.P.S. Putting exclamation points behind every sentence you write doesn't make it anymore intelligent.

And it wasn't limited to the Hot Jock Forum either. There was a new thread started about Tom Welling and another about our Heisman choice when there were already threads about these topics. A simple use of the search function would have found them. Like I said, it's just about being considerate of the moderators who donate their time to keep the board up as well as considearte of your fellow Outsports members.

Tommy, just go to your profile and view your recent posts. You will notice most are in the hot jock talk realm. I do not have a problem with it. I would advocate more of a balance. You do not want to end up like Sterlingman you know wink I am glad he survived the hurricaning.
Erik,
You're treading on dangerous territory by picking on my friend,Sterlingman!Don't be surprised if the brakes on your tricycle get tampered with!I have just the right wrench for the job!
If only alot more people were as cool and nice as you Eddie, the world would be a better place smile.gif

I do not spend all day long at pictures. My reading comprehension is just fine and dandy. I never said you said that some needed to get a life and boyfriend.

And I don't know where this thing about pointing exclamation marks in all my sentences. In some, yes, but I don' see how you can say that I do it all the time.

I saw Tommy's posts last night, and well, I guess he'll post the way he wants to, but I do understand that it would be better to instead of starting new threads, to just post on existing ones.

I've never used the Todays Active Topics link befor, so I don't know what to say about that. I either look at the lastest posts on the homepage, or I open the board through the link.

I agree with you.

I'm a member/moderator of a Yahoo! group, and I'm always considered of the mods/owners of a board I post on. I sometimes get of messages, at the Yahoo! group, bitching that I'm posting too many pictures of athletes, or that I'm not posting enough nudes - I do not post naked pictures at all.

In all the time that I've been here, only once - that I can remember, one of my posts was moved.

Some complaint about how this forum, as well as the other non-sport related ones get most of the attention. Well you know what, stop complaining and start new threads/discusions on the sports-related forums of the board. By complaining, you are not part of the solution, but the problem.

Want talk some baseball? Well start a discussion. Hell maybe I'll even join in. How about some (American) football? Again, start a conversation, just don't complain that there isn't one, or wait for someone else to start one.
If you think that starting discussion on the sports areas will lead to more sports discussions, you're mistaken. The majority of posts in sports threads are by a rather small group of people. These people start most of the sports threads and reply to them as well.

The majority of the people who post here aren't really that interested in sports -- the leagues, the rules, the games themselves, the playoff races, etc. They're more interested in looking at hot guys, or talking about non-sports things.

Sterlingman-even though I quoted some of what you had posted, my post was not specifically directed at you. Not the first one, or the second time, and not the last time. So don't take everything I've said to be directed at you, because it's not. I quoted you so I could point out the thing about Active Topics.

Weaselman,

Here's your reply to my post about it being the moderators job, paid or not, to move our post to appropriate forums on this board.

Weaselman said;

Tommy, I don't think they get paid, so it's not exactly a job.

Here's a thought: push yourself away from the computer, get out of the house and go get yourself laid, instead of surfing around looking for every picture of a half-way attractive man to post here. And by half-way attractive, I mean a guy that has his shirt off or has the slightest hint of a bulge in his shorts. Jesus, there's a bit more to life than looking at pictures.

Weaselman if you had only said the first part;

Tommy, I don't think they get paid, so it's not exactly a job.

There would have been no response from me. That's an opinion. It was the second part of your statement. The negative, disrespectful comments that were uncalled for.

Others have called you on it and you're trying to justify yourself by attacking me and being negative once more.

Your negative comments are a reflection of you as a person. Everything going on in our lives comes from how we feel about ourselves.

You're either a negative person, or someone who's postive and respectful. You're not a little bit of both.

If you look around in your life. I guarantee that your personal and professional life is filled with chaos and drama. Ask your co-workers and family members what they really think of you, and ask them to be honest. The answers may surprise you. And being labeled as bitchy is being labeled as a negative person.

Thanks for getting it Sterling. If nothing else I am glad your computer survived the weather wink

Now how could any swimmer complain about pictures of hot swimmers

Perhaps we should all just be greatful for Dupont lycra. It is great to play sports in AND watch sports in.

If nothing else I am treading shark infested waters. Landsharks are threatening to throw a wrench in my tricycle.

We're suffering through unseasonably warm temperatures here in SoCal, and the Air Force Academy swim team was kind enough to visit San Diego today for a swim meet. Hmmm, what to do? Without further ado...

Hi Calguysd
Thank you so much for keeping the Hot Swimmer section updated.

Glad to see that the Air Force Academy still uses those good ol' Speedo Racer briefs. biggrin.gif Pretty nice "uniforms" for an organization that forbids Gays from being in the military.

Behind the scene however, I'll bet the hormones are really raging and once those guys get back to the dorm, they've got hours of J.O. to do. eek!

Keep up the good work!

Noticed another hot swimmer in cooper104's link to the Bay Area's Athlete Hall of Fame. Pablo Morales became more than sexy to me when I read this:
QUOTE
Pablo Morales was always a team player who achieved individual success.  When asked to have his picture taken at the 1987 NCAA Championship, Pablo responded \"I only have my picture taken with my team.\"
My what big flippers and speedo bulge!

All the talk about Pablo Morales of the Bay Area made me think of this old picture I have of him.

Definite hunk of his days.

Cooper - Thank you for bringing up one of my favorites!
God.. he was hot. Wonder what he looks like now, but I'll bet he looks pretty good. Anyone remember Brian Goodell? He was one of my favorites from that era as well.

I noticed that the Hot Swimmer section hasn’t been updated for quite a while now, so here’s a link to keep the topic alive:

http://csuvikings.collegesports.com/sports...wim-team05.html

Note that they’ve got those good old racer briefs (not those ecchhy body suits that block the view)! biggrin.gif

Hopefully, this will encourage others to come up with some new and exciting pics too.

Cheers smile.gif

I'm with Dolphin on this - the Hot Swimmers thread has been neglected here for too long.

Just to help things along, here are a few more from the 2005 water polo season here in Southern California.

A little steam helps you relax
Keep those goggles on to stretch safely
So much action over one little ball

For those of you who are into the wet skin scene, I just ran across a nice link to keep the Hot Swimmer topic alive.

Take note that those good old racer briefs are still in high style! biggrin.gif

Looks like they're pairing up

... and they lived happily ever after - Roland Schoeman of South Africa and Brett Hawke of Australia, that is.

And who wouldn't, look at Brett stretching here and here before he had made his final selection from the RSA team.

Happy indeed was the Canadian pair Despatie-Miranda as well, working in perfect harmony and forming angles of exactly 45 degrees as required until Tony Ally and Mark Shipman of England came along and reshuffled the whole deck.

That hug made at least Tony Ally very very happy.

Great photos Finneye! This foursome especially sets the imagination spinning.

Setting a new standard in swimwear

I think the color is called chartreuse: a fancy word for lime-green? Requires more investigatin'

He may not be a famous swimmer but this is a swimmer's body for sure. Maybe he's a high school, college or amateur swimmer who kept in really good shape.

Still no swimwear is going to give you a package.

Ha has also modelled for the Dutch photographer Ewoud Broeksma
