Hi Calguysd
Thanks once again for keeping the Hot Swimmer board updated.

One advantage of living in warm, sunny California is that swimming and diving is always in season.

Finnish veteran swimmer Jani Sievinen retired after a long swimming career at the European Short Course Swimming Championships held earlier this month in my home town Helsinki. He sends his Season's Greetings with these reindeer horns on his head and thanks the audience for its support. His first big international event was Barcelona Olympics in 1992.

I was present at the Helsinki championships with my camera, and some photos might be coming up soon...

Hi Guys:
The Hot Swimmer section hasn’t been updated in a while, and I also ran across a photo of the Stanford Swimming & Diving team that appropriately deserves a place on this board:

http://img480.imageshack.us/my.php?image=stanfordhd4.jpg

I’d really love to slip on my Speedo and get in the pool with this group.

Cheers -

Anyone else have trouble opening this one? (I tried pasting it into a new window, and neither that nor a direct hit opened it.)

The link doesn't work, I think, or it was taken down yesterday.

Here is the New Zealand Swimming Team, which is pretty nice.

My, my the Stanford Swimming Team is as hot as their trunks are red. Can you please sign an autograph for me on your swimming trunks and then give them to me, young man? My imagination tends to go a little crazy sometimes.

Cute how all of New Zealand has embraced Maori culture - the Haka has almost become Kiwi hip-hop, hopefully without all the negative connotations that characterizes USA hip-hop. But it is originally a war dance.

Exhibit at the national museum - cute guy in the back with the two feathers

The original Haka-teers - rugby's all-blacks

Young guys really get into the tongue action - talk about homoerotic. But it's all for the girls rolleyes.gif
Philliproy
Those New Zealand boys know how to dance. All-male dancing turns me on, especially when everyone takes their shirts off.

Hot indeed. Interesting how guys can be hot without being very pretty.

Some other hot pictures of Mr. Sacchin and one that is...well...you decide:

The Spanish water polo team celebrating victory over Italy in Melbourne

Filippo Mangini yearning for a taste of the Melbourne water (or of the guy in the next lane?)

The 4x100 m silver went to Italy

Grant Hackett, Australia, with his matching eyes and swimsuit

Is it a giant frog or Grant Hackett?

American beauties David Alasdair Boudia and Thomas Finchum (did somebody forget to fill the pool?)

Greek water polo gods (are they all models or what? So trendy with hairy chests and all) cool.gif

"The result of the last looks more like a pigs snout than a spinning diver to me."

It looks also like a spinning hurricane or typhoon.

It reminds me of what Henry David Thoreau said in his book called Walden.

"The indescribable innocence and beneficence of Nature — of sun and wind and rain, of summer and winter — such health, such cheer, they afford forever! and such sympathy have they ever with our race, that all Nature would be affected, and the sun's brightness fade, and the winds would sigh humanely, and the clouds rain tears, and the woods shed their leaves and put on mourning in midsummer, if any man should ever for a just cause grieve. Shall I not have intelligence with the earth? Am I not partly leaves and vegetable mould myself?"

They are definitely amazing and delicious too. Youth has it's own beauty.
sportinlife
Where else but Outsports would someone quote Thoreau in a thread about Hot Jocks?

That excerpt reminds me of prose written by Walt Whitman describing his tender encounter with an injured Civil War soldier in hospital. I wish I could find it on the internet.

It is rare that one can write about such a tragic incident with such beauty that it nearly brings you to tears of joy rather than sadnes just reading it.

I know your English is good so I'm gonna assume that your choice of the word "random" is tongue-in-cheek".

That you should just happen to pick the three best photos of the same incredibly hunky diver from among what must be dozens if not hundreds of photos of that event, simply defies any scientific or generic definition of the word that I know.

You, Finneye, have obviously chosen to display that exceptionally gorgeous piece of diving man-flesh.

And I for one am not complaining about that at all. smile.gif
J eddie
Someone is a great photographer as well! Those 3 photos are exceptional.

Here's a shot of a Chinese hotty that is very non-randomly chosen from a google image search:

Stopped in for my regular morning dose of "Picture This" and boy am I glad I wasn't drinking coffee yet or I might have lost it. That entire groupof rowers looks any one of them would be comfortable at a gay pride parade singing "It's Raining Men" on a rowers' float.

Horny devil that I am I had to search around a little to see if they're that much fun all the time and lo' and behold I find this interesting little gem.

Feel free to write your own caption to that one. I gotta get to work before I start thinking too much about something else.

A few shots I took from the 2006-2007 local water polo season to keep the thread alive and celebrate our independence as well. Red and white caps, and a few stunning objects wrapped in blue as well.

Air Force almost seems to fly.
Hot bodies in a field of blue suits.
Another red and white cap takes to the air.
Reaching for the stars.

The local college men's water polo season kicked off this weekend with the Triton Invitational tourney in San Diego. Some of the many reasons for attending and supporting local sports on this Labor Day weekend included:

Wave after wave after wave...
Refreshing cold drinkees.
Staying wet to keep cool.
Always stick with your wingman.
Nothing wrong with having a safety net.
Sometimes mirrored lenses actually make the look work.
And finally, Some people just don't know where to look...
...while others are just lucky enough to catch the view of a lifetime.
