Looks like the favourites from the NL West are Matt Mantei (Arizona), Shawn Estes (Colorado), Steve Finley (LA), Ryan Klesko (Padres), and J.T. Snow (Giants).

This weeks voting will deal with the NL Central. This is an interesing division as Houston, St. Louis, and Milwaukee all have their share of handsome players.

Really glad to see Brad Ausmus comforatbly ahead on the Astros. Although I usually go for the blond bear look of a Jeff Kent all I see when I look at him is a cocky arrogant snarly face. Ausmus always looks hot squatting down; he's got a great butt, a kind face; and maybe even more importantly was one of the first players to support Billy Bean when he came out. That makes him very desireable to me.

Just a couple of examples of why Michael Barrett deserves your vote as hottest Cub (now that Alex Gonzalez is an Expo)...

Lookin' great as an Expo...

The NL Central definitely earns the title as the division with the hottest players....choosing between Ausmus and Biggio was agonizing (will those two guys EVER age? wink ) but I ultimately selected Craig over his equally hot, nearly 40-year old teammate....Chris Carpenter, Scott Podsednik and Michael Barrett (thanks for posting that terrific pic of MB behind the mic, hockeyjock) also got my votes in CLOSE competition over a bunch of studs on the rosters of the Cards, Brew Crew and Cubbies.

It's a shame that the NL Central can't have more than two teams in the postseason so that we could all enjoy seeing these gorgeous guys on the field for a few extra weeks.
