After reading it, I tried to find the Australian "Sports Truth" publication on the web and when I did, nothing was there.
Can someone help me fird the original story that brought about this humorous column, please?

No yeah I don't use Google for this type screen caps. The other photos I post here are from searching fan/team sites or sent to me by email, but screen caps I get them from the Yahoo! Groups I'm a member of. I just save them, upload to the Web again and post them here...

I wasn't able to read the story in your second link (it requires registering), but I do remember reading about. I agree with you that he, Shane, seems to only want the spotlight, and in fact, I think that was mentioned in the story I read too...

the pics I've saved after reinstalling my
windows 2 weeks ago.To add to what Sterling
said about yahoo groups-there are several
on this particular topic.Most of them are
probably based in Aus and NZ-they get these
types of pics in their regular sports media.
Off hand for anyone interested, groups that
come to mind are sportsjocks,sports Boners,
nrlmen,and RL (rugby league) exposed

Yeah I know what you mean, Mortlock is quite the stud and I was thinking the same way - that I was the only one that liked Mortlock!
I don't remember when was the first time I saw him, but I would put it at 2-3 years ago.So you haven't been able to see Stirling Mortlock? Are you in the U.S.? I'm asking this because FOX Soccer Channel (formerly FOX Sports World) airs Rugby from Autralia, where Stirling plays with the Brumbies (and the Australian Rugby team, the Wallabies). Check said site's Rugby page for time/dates that Australia/the Brumbies will have a match on TV (I just checked an none are on the schedule)
If you want to post (link) pictures from your Yahoo! Photos account here, just copy the URL (the one on the Address bar, do not right-click over image) and paste it here using the URL button. Yahoo! doesn't allow direct links. If you find a picture on a commercial site, then you can just right-click over the image, get the URL and do the copy and paste...
Regarding saving and posting pictures here at Outsports, I'll send you an email with detailed information about it
It's quite simple too...I'll MP you with an ID to look for in the "From" field, so you'll know it's me

to delete posts,that you can archive
them instead.Of course they claim
that the average person can go years
without filling up their account
and it took me less than a month. eek!
