That was really nice to put David Carr against Koji.

I glad that Markus Rogan is doing so well, and the lovely Brad Ausmus (even though he is against Mike Alstott).

Jeremy Bloom continues to do well.

I've been in love with David Carr for years. I didn't even look at who he's up against. The toughest pick for me was Ausmus vs Alstott. Went with the home boy.

Wait, hold on here, what world do I live in where Mike Alstott is LOSING to a baseball player. What the hell happened, where am I?
Adam
Good pairings this round. Lots of tough calls--Carr & Koji, Bloom & Black, Rogan & Donovan. Ausmus over Alstott was an easy call--sorry Married Lady.

Awwwwwwww. Come here G, and let me see if Papa can do something that will make you feel better biggrin.gif

And Koji is keeping up with Carr! Yes!! Carr is soooooooo overated. It's not like he's Joey Harrington or anything tongue.gif

Marinerfan: I kept my word to you and voted Rogan. although I'm kind of surprised at the lead he has over Donovan.

It appears that Bloom & Michalak are steamrolling their way to the Sweet 16.

And I agree with Married Lady...Alstott and those legs losing to Ausmus? WTF?

I have a headache.

Right now it looks like two nailbiters -- Wally vs Brady and Carr vs Koji.

Pat Burrell has pulled a little further ahead now. biggrin.gif

Ummm last time I check Mike Alstott went to Purdue, the same school another particular player that you trashed went... wink
BallHatGuy
Ok, I rarely post but what's up with Alstott and Urlacher losing?! I'm bummed . . .

I guess we'll see where the votes end up.
Mariner Duck Guy
Woah, I just checked the scoreboard and noticed that Oh By Golly, It Must Be Wally has reeled in and passed Tom "Captain America" Brady. Last time I checked, Wally was trailing by a significant amount.

And it looks like Simon Black will be the first jock to receive double digit votes on our reigning champion Jeremy Bloom.
Mariner Duck Guy
OK, you guys made me do this.

See, Koji likes kids

And look at those guns, thighs & ass. He's concentrating really hard & trying to tell you to VOTE KOJI!

It's Day 2 of the Midwest/West Regions and the closest match-up right now is between Pat Burrell and Lenny Krayzelburg with Lenny up by 2 votes.

Wally has increased his lead to 10 votes over Brady.

Ausmus continues to hold a 10 vote lead over Alstott.

And I'm not even addressing all you *&#%$%! who voted Carr  But I'm not bitter. wink

Voting ends 11:59 tonight. Will we have a down to the wire finish like we did in the Southeast region?

Vote for Pat the Bat or feel my wrath!!!

And the guy not wearing an OutSports cap is kind of cute, too.

We may be up late tonight, waiting for the last precincts from Ohio to come in before we have a winner in the Burrell/Krayzelburg race. Brian Williams, Peter Jennings, and Anderson Cooper will be working overtime tonight.

So, if we vote for Pat the Bat, do we get to feel your...Mr. Happy?

P.S. How many times have you used that "feel my wrath" line at the bars, and how many times has it worked? wink

That question can only be answered in person. wink

Especially Anderson Cooper. tongue.gif

Whew I am very pleased to see Markus Rogan doing so well. I just got my votes in. I was stuck in Boise Idaho yesterday in sales meetings with my new job. I kept thinking the entire time, I need 10 minutes to log onto Outsports so I could vote and campaign for Markus...

MDB I voted for Koji for you as well. I hope he pulls out a win for you.

Mike smile.gif

Can I place my votes early for next week as I will be on Maui and not connected online??? biggrin.gif

Thanks, but I'm resigned to the fact that Koji will not move-on sad.gif but at least Joey's still alive! Koji will be back next year and maybe if I'm lucky, I'll find shirtless pics of him.

Damn Carr...although he is hot & that's why he's a #1 seed.

Burrell and Krayzelburg are tied at 36 votes each.

Gaga, are you over your pouting yet? Because we need your vote! You could be the deciding vote.
Joe in Philly
Vote for Pat or I will leave this board forever.

Or: Vote for Pat or I will post twice as much as I do now.

Take your pick. Either way, if Pat loses I will make your lives miserable. Miserable, I tell you!

Joe, next time you get your picture taken with Pat, you should really convince him to take his shirt off. That would probably help win some more votes.
PatSanFran
Ok, I admit, that French rugby dude is hot, and I love the naked pic of him where is sorta stradling a teammate.

But need I remind anyone of that three-second video of Matt Shirvington's bulge flopping madly from side-to-side? Huh? Need I? Ah...wish you could go back and re-cast your vote, now dontcha? wink

biggrin.gif
Theo
Pat and Lenny are in a dead heat! Tied at 38. I think we're in double OT now.

Weird to see Tom Brady lose at anything. eek!
bobby78751
PAT! PAT! PAT! PAT! PAT! PAT!
Gaga4Gaby
I voted before I left work yesterday ... although I wasn't planning on admitting it to anyone. So I can't be the tiebreaker. Sorry.

But I guess the good news for Pat supporters is there wouldn't even be a tie if I hadn't of decided to get over my sorrow and pain at Marat's loss ... I kept Pat alive biggrin.gif
Mariner Duck Guy
Our first overtime in the history of the KOTH competition! I set up a separate poll just for the OT match-up.

And I am sad that Murofushi lost to Carr. At least he lost to a #1 seed.

Even with the bulge, Shirvington could not keep up with ichalak.

Intriguing match-ups in the Sweet 16. Will Wally put up a fight against Bloom? Bloom has won his first two matches 64-4 & 61-15.

In the second West matchup, aka the European division, we have Austria vs. France with Rogan (who represented Austria at the Olympics) and Michalak going against each other.
