OK, so I'm watching the U.S. Open today (mainly because I'm working the Sports desk today and I'm bored with no baseball on TV). Then I see Sergio Garcia and David Duvall. Anyone else think these golfers are pretty hot?

I used to have a huge crush on Seve Ballesteros back in the 80s. Such a hot Spaniard.

Olazabal and Nick Faldo. don't forget Justin Leonard (what a hunk!) and even Phil Mickelson.

The french guy who blew the lead of the British open, Jean Van der waal is a hottie also.

Besides Duval, Garcia and Leonard, I also like Billy Andrade, Matt Kuchar, Paul Stankowski, Mike Weir, Ernie Els, Scott McCarron, Franklin Langham, Stuart Appleby, Matt Gogel and Steve Jones

I love golfers--they are, in general, in good shape but are not steroided-out freaks like in, say, baseball. Plus, such a lot of nice WASP boys!

JDNYC: I know it's hard to believe, but English is my mother tongue. *Sheesh* I realized at work today that my sentence made no sense. It should have read:

Skin color, hair color etc. are irrelevant to me; it's all about the face. I like a certain type of face and everything else, including the body, is window dressing.

Sergio's now with Martina Hingis. I had held out hope that he and Tiger would get together, making them the cutest male couple on the circuit. But then wasn't a Swedish model following Tiger around during the 2002 Masters tournament?

Until the current younger crop (40 and under) of golfers, I always associated the sport with dumpy, sunburnt guys who had neither color nor fashion sense--except of course for the late Payne Stewart, who was a sartorial success. Jack Nicklaus was for years to me the emblem of golf. Talent for days, but not an attractive bone in him. (There were always a few exceptions, like the young Lee Trevino, Nick Faldo, etc.)

David Duval is still my main guy though. Even though he hasn't been playing well at all. Also, Chris DeMarco, Padraig Harrington, Stuart Appleby, Jean van de Velde, and Justin Leonard. But here's a tough one..How about starting a thread about pro bowlers...LOL...Except for Brian Voss, not very many out there.

If anyone is interested in doing so, the full size pictures (plus one other shot that is the rest of the team in the shorts, that wouldn't upload at all on Photobucket) are of MUCH better quality and could use a home somewhere on the web! wink Photobucket, Webshots, etc. all shrink the pictures cause they are so large. The second shot of the team naked is of horrible quality compared to the actual scanned one. E-mail me if you'd be interested in 'hosting' them.

Every article I've ever seen about Aaron Baddeley talks about his heartthrob status and the squealing girls who follow him and his willingness to buy into that. If he'd put together a strong tourney, he'd be extremely marketable--and much more visible.

I just bought the last two issues of June Golf digest at local bookstore -- and spent the weekend drooling over players on the UCLA golf team. Have never been a fan of golf -- but a couple of photos shoots like this will really convert me. The "pants down" shot of the UCLA in the centerfold is really erotic -- lots of explosed flesh. The legs of these players are to die for.

I had a 1st-hand story that came my way last year before I left LA, but never bothered to do much investigation. My only recollection was that he was younger than Griese. That's all I can remember.

Count me in too - been playing golf (lefthanded) since I was ten years old......

I tried playing golf a few years ago. I got tired of my mullet-wearing, butch lesbians friends out driving me off the tee. On the off-chance that I actually did make solid contact it was pretty good, but those were few and far between.

Basically, playing 18 hours of golf was just way too taxing for my ADD raddled brain.

I play golf on occasion too. I don't think you could ever form organized gay golf because you'd always have guys running into the woods for sex!

I'm dying to get back to playing golf. I played pretty regularly for a few years. Now since severely breaking my leg, I am leery of playing my other sports like softball and volleyball, so I need to get back to golf to give me an outlet for my competitive juices.

Would love it if there were a few other guys in the NY metro area who would want to get together for a regular Outsports Golf Outing. Of course, some patience would be required to play with me...
