Check this out, only you like your men on the big and chunky side, as I do.

And here's a slender discus thrower with a tight shape.

I like my men on the big and chunky. Thanks for the picture link.

I found some shot put sequence pictures of John Godina throwing 67' 1" at the Mt. SAC Relays 2001

Adam Nelson is one sexy, chunky man. I like his butch arms.

Yo, those are some meaty legs you've got there, Daddy-O

Reminder:

Three pole vaulters died in falls from the pole in 2002 including Penn pole vaulter Kevin Dare. [/QB]
Since Kevin's death at the Big Ten Track and Field Championships in 2002, the Dare family has been very active in promoting safety within the sport.

BTW, Kevin was a Penn State student-athlete.

Sorry about the possible confusion PennState4Ever. Should have made it clear that Dare was from Penn State rather than University of Pennsylvania here in Philly.

When the subject is sports I often assume "Penn" is Penn State. My bad.

Now I'd like to "relay" a few random photos that caught my eye wink .

Mmm, Giirrrl where did you get that perm?

Four very different guys, four totally different personalities - ONE goal

That is a rare beauty! And those suckable little ears...can't wait to see the 400 races if he's gonna be there.

Always thought that race required a rare mix of speed endurance, competitive desire, skill and teamwork. Longer ad more enjoyable than the shorter races and leads to the best bodies in the olympics IMO. Otis Harris does nothing to contradict any of the above; absolutely stunning.

Now for some lesser lights form the minor divisions in the NCAA

You're the second person that can't see the pictures. This other guy could only see blurred thumnails.

Try this ones...

This is the one I said was checking he was sporting a bulge...

This one doesn't need to check... that's a monster!

This UCLA jock looks to be free-balling...

Okay, okay dude... I'll show you my bulge!

Comrades:

Excuse me. The picture of Patrik from Jim in Outsports does not resemble the picture of Patrik from Batboy!

The first picture is more smooth and thinner while the second picture has more body hair and is not so thin.

Are both pictures of the same Patrik?

Here are some more Patrik pictures. If you want to discuss it further, there's nothing like more evidence to get you started:

All right, you win!

Batboy's picture of Patrik is the same as OlympicFan and Jim of Outsports' pictures. I am amazed how the soft lighting and the deep blue background in Batboy's picture can make one guy look so different!

NEVERTHELESS Patrik is a hot guy!

Mikestead,

I found my photo of Patrik on a creative image site so the photography is a higher level and the resolution is also higher. But unfortunately, you get the watermark.

This is the first time I discovered Patrik and had to share it with everyone else, but apparently Jim has been a fan all along! wink

I have to say I like his newer look and am glad he's over his bleached blonde look. I'm looking forward to seeing him in the Olympics.

If I had to choose just one from this group , I'd take the second man from the left. Yum!

Why choose? All four look damn good to me!!!

I agree, fantomas. But if I had to choose, I'd choose the second one from the right. tongue.gif

Even with steroids taking some of the sheen off the Olympics, and though my favorite running competitions are the 4x400 and 4x800, the 100 and 4x100 are probably still going to be the marquee events and there's an interesting contest coming up this year because Asafa Powell of Jamaica looks ready to grab Maurice Greene's title.

I hate to say it but I'll be pulling for the young Jamaican, and maybe even their 4x100 squad which has less of a chance but emotion can go a long way. This 21 year old is a remarkable athlete.

I guess I just love an underdog and seeing a little country with a lot of seriuos problems get a little encouragement. The running events in general and the 100 in particular are much bigger deals for the Jamaicans.

Now let's pray the steroids don't raise their ugly heads.

[oh, and isn't Powell the most gorgeous creature you've ever seen - not that that swayed me at all rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif ]

Little ole me did THAT!?

Did you see that guy on the left in the white singlet? He's barely in the shot, but damn--he has a pole vault in his shorts!

Hadn't noticed that. Thanks for the "head"'s-up.

There was a feature spot on 400meter runner Jeremy Warriner and I don't know if it was the camera angle, but he sure did fill out his Baylor Bear uniform! We're talking another Anaconda!

Don't click on the link if you don't want spoiler info!!!

He is absolutely stunning. Not only his Baylor uniform extremely flattering, but his uniform in the Olympics is an eyeful, too. smile.gif I love to watch him run.

If that's an anaconda, then how do you describe what's hiding (not!) in the singlet of Asafa Powell from Jamaica (right) in this picture!

(Maybe he's doubling as a reporter and that's his microphone pack.)

I've noticed that the green tights really show everything. I stare in shock at some of those packages. And also in the decathalon today it seemed there was an effort NOT to show the men from the waist down--a damn shame as those men are fine, fine, fine.
