So I on the front page of the sports section of my paper today there was this picture:
Olympic champ Crawford

It definetly had my attention, you don't usually find such a great picture like that in my newspaper.

Oh, there was an actual article with that picture.
fantomas
Kujhawker, thanks for posting the links to Crawford! Mmm mmmhh, that young man looks good!

Oh, there was an actual article with that picture. Considering the political persuasion of Fox, I wonder if the cared that he threatened his health and career to participate in this circus:
QUOTE
“That was living hell. It was crazy, man. I threw up at the end,” Crawford, the 2004 Olympic gold medalist in the 200-meter dash, said Tuesday at Memorial Stadium, recalling his racing both a giraffe and zebra as part of Fox’s “Man Vs. Beast” TV competition in January 2003.
Throwing up may be the least of his problems if he keeps up that sort of thing.

He could earn more money lap-dancing on the gay circuit: less physical stress and...no fondling allowed. wink

My favorite Finnish Track athlete, sprinter Markus Pöyhönen, was running for Finland at Penn Relays last weekend.

He also participated the Finnish version of Dancing with the Stars, and you can watch him rehearsing the dances and having fun via YouTube .

Other countries get Brody and Markus and we only get Jerry Rice? That just doesn't seem fair. tongue.gif

Markus is a total hottie. Thanks for the find Finn!

Thanks, sportinlife, for the great collection!

I've only got two or three (ehh...) minor things to add.

Kelly Willie anchors LSU 4 x 400-meter relay to victory - and he’s obviously got magnificent talent for that.

Derrick Harpe of Claflin is also very talented and does his triple jump with grace.

And there are never too many pictures of Asafa Powell around.

And finally a quick look at Drake Relays:
Oh GOOOOD, I just love Wisconsin, it's totally awesome!

Great inspiration, sportinlife! Which brings me to posting these:

Double-O
Twin-O
...with hard nipples
Go Philip go, hang on there, Matt!
It seems Matt could use a strong hug now
Anyone?
That’s the way!
Hey, no fighting, line up guys!
Stop it, I'm ticklish!
You didn't need to stop, though.

Hot damn! Warn folks before you post photos like this!

A newsflash from France:
the guys are hot there this summer too.
They start their trainig young - in particular, take note of the boy to the right in this training camp picture. He must already be thinking of his performance later that day.

Come night, the entertainment in chic french style starts. They dress very properly and never forget that underwear must always match the rest of your appearance.

So are they a couple? biggrin.gif
Would that it were true! But I suspect not. The photos are from a story about their cooperation in a program of elite T&F athletes (the Golden League) to promote the IAAF. But that picture of them laying on the ground holding that a soccer ball (to take advantage of the popularity of the upcoming World Cup maybe?) certainly does look chummy and suggestive to the active imagination. wink

My power couple for today:

Hammer tosser Koji Murofushi and hurdler Terrence Trammell.

Hammering, tossing and hurdling - what a sexy combo!

Damn, Sportinlife, when I saw the huge variety of hot men in several posts upthread (and in the World Cup soccer thread), I knew they had to be from you and I was right. You've got some serious good taste.

Please stop posting all these hot-as-hell photos -- I've looking at this at the library and they're making want some serious "me time"!

Seriously though, the variety is just to my taste, so keep 'em coming!

Please, please NewYorkVenus, get thee to a private place before practicing the five-finger waltz. I DO NOT want to be accused a leading yet another young man into the misery of self-abuse...unless I can personally give instruction. wink

Take these with you to that private place:

A somewhat better photo of the new dec champ Jake Arnold

Asafa squats - O that I were a bed of grass!

Pitmaster Xavier Carter exhorts his fans - and he's one of his biggest from the looks

Another great photo of Darrold Willamson and his... ahem... stride.

Did I ever mention my special admiration of pole vaulting and vaulters?

France has produced several astonishing athletes of that discipline, not just Jean Galfione. (Remind me of returning to my other shots of him later.)

A great French vaulter and (surprise surprise) model is Romain Mesnil, 29 this year.

He’s got natural talent for jumping high
and posing for photos.

A 22-year-old Romain.

Point your pole to the sky and your eyes to the box.

How about six Romains?
I’d rather have all seven.

A recent photo from this month.

And a link to his official homepage.

Wow Finneye, both Galfione and Mesnil are stunning. Thanks for those beautiful photos.

Bravo Finneye! You are truly a gifted photographer.

Thanks for the recognition, although I hope you didn't mean any of the recent photos linked by me in this very thread - except the one with Galfione. All others I just found in the Internet... My own photos I usually mark with the Finneye logo.
J eddie
Oops! I thought those were your photos as well.

To be this close to these 4 Italians hotties and keep a steady hand? You'd HAVE to be heterosexual. biggrin.gif

Now let's forget all about football (soccer, I mean) and go back to the guys in tights. The uncrowned king of them all is Asafa Powell, but where are these guys taking him? Stop, he is mine!!

Well, at least I can watch him on this impressive video from Golden League Paris where he ran one of his gold medals in 100m.

I don't know finneye. I think the guy on Powell's left has got him covered. He could certainly cover me.

Someone else who could make good cover

Not to be critical but...he is wearing a wreath of Laurel.
It was the traditional head dress of an Olympic Champion long before they gave medals out!

Not to be touchy but I was joshing.

I guess I should have made it more obvious by putting a biggrin.gif face afterward.

Hope you like the photo though. Koji's so

Andrew Howe (Besozzi) was born in Los Angeles in 1985 as son of Renee Felton, an American hurdler of Caribbean origin, and Andrew Howe senior, a former American football player. Little Andrew moved to Italy with his mother after her second marriage with Ugo Besozzi, and lives ever since in the small town of Rieti in Central Italy. His main disciplines are 200 m and long jump.

Andrew (second from left) clearly enjoys hanging out with his Italian buddies...

He doesn’t have any problem with posing for photographs alone either
and considering that body and that face who would?

He is the World Youth Champion of 2004 in long jump
and in 200 m.

At the Outdoor World Championships last year in Helsinki
he made it to the 200 m quarter-finals.

and at the Moscow Indoor Championships he finished with long jump bronze after Ghana's Gaisah and Panama's Saladino.

Check out his website with a great photo gallery and desktops.

Judging from the photo I'm guessing their all right-handed except the guy on our left. tongue.gif Somebody loves him in Italy dubbing him King Andrew I. But I hope they realize the Oscar is for acting. Jeremy Wariners is the real McCoy at 400m.

PS - An Italian high-jumper in your favorite position.

Being not very good at reading things upside down I thought a while that the word across his chest said ERECTIO. Anyhow, esercito is more or less the Italian equivalent for 'army'.

By the way, Andrew Howe works for the Italian Air Force, and if you'd for some peculiar reason like to promote them by sending a post card, but not one showing a fighter jetplane, you can choose a more peaceful one with Andrew’s picture instead.

And as Wariner is the king of 400, Andrew is the king of both 200 and long jump biggrin.gif
