Hi Sportinlife!

Many thanks for re-printing the superb pictures of the sensational Felix Sanchex. I can only say that my heart is in my mouth everytime I view the man! Superb!

Coudn't access the Getty" images which is a shame. Any suggestions how I might be able to proceed along that path? I've tried before with very little success at all.

Have you checked out the amazing photo of Xavier Carter on the IAAF Website (Carson Meeting profile), displaying his considerable assets! Excellent!

Thanks for continuing to fuel my fantasies!

Hi Superman!

It does seem a little tricky to access the Getty Images.
When I first click the link I only get the location address as text on the screen. But when I right after that click on the little green arrow "Go to the address in the location bar" (in Firefox that is - in IE I think it just says "Go") next to the address field, I get to the picture anyway.

Hi Sportinlife!

Thanks for the new instructions re accessing the Getty Images. Will try them forthwith!

Excellent photo of Felix (Ostrava 2004) on the IAAF Website. One I have never seen before. He even looks beautiful hurdling at full tilt! Gather he anchored the Dominican Republic to a 4x400 relay win this weekend. The MAIN MAN is on his way back!

Hi There Sportinlife!

First of all APOLOGIES for confusing you with Finneye! You are both ACE photographers! Do I sense a healthy respect and competitiveness between you? Why not? If it helps produce and publish excellent Track pictures, then it must be good!

Love Clement and Merritt too! Beautiful athletes. And "Willie" ain't too bad either!

See that Jeremy won again in Hengelo today (Saturday). The man is just THE BEST since Johnson. He is a handsome fella and I always enjoy looking at him! The whole body too! But can do without the "bling"! It just looks cheap and as we in the UK say, "NAFF"! But he is a "looker" certainly.

Keep up the good work. Clay, Sebrele and others competing at Gotzis this weekend. Surely some worthy photos will be available from that meeting!

Hi Sportinlife!

Thanks for the coverage of John Steffenson.

Noticed him as a junior some years ago and have followed his career with interest. He most certainly
has "developed" on all counts. Pretty arrogant, but then name me a sprinter who isn't!!!!!

He's cute!

Didn't do so well in Wariner's Hengelo race yesterday though. 5th or 6th place! He'll get there though!

Cheers!

Hi:
I deleted a link to a pole valuter a few messages above for one reason: The photo was too big.

We are considering whether to ban the ability to post an image directly since too many people post pics that are way too big and force you to scroll horizontially to read a thread. We always prefer you to post the URL instead, especially if the photo is too large. If you want to post the linked image find a size that is smaller and if one does not exist, simply post the URL. Thanks!

We got Finneye a credential to cover the world decathlon championships in Austria. We will have an extensive gallery but check out today's Picture This for a sample.

DOOOOHHHH!!!!!

In one of the most electrifying 100m sprints I've seen in a long time, Tyson Gay ran a blistering 9.76s race to win coming from behind after a false start for the field on the first attempt. But a wind 0.2 m/h over the limit of 2.0 denied him the title of fastest man alive!. The electricity in this race was over the top.

Not the biggest fan of the 100 (the intermediate distances, and runners, are more elegant to me) but when he and Powell race it will be a scorcher.

To Finneye via Jim at Outsports!

WOW! That's possibly the only word that I can use to describe the Day 1 photographs from the Gotzis Decathlon! There are, of course other highly descriptive words, but they are, on the whole, unprintable.

God, what a line up of magnificent men!

Hard to explain and describe the feelings I had on viewing them. What about "So Many Men, So Little Time!"

My favourite? Well it just has to be No.20. Jacob Minah fron Germany. What I wouldn't give for two days of watching that hunk of athleticism. He has just about everything I admire and lust after!

You were obviously one lucky fella Finneye...........what two days of entertainment and beauty you must have enjoyed!

One obvious question............. Why do you think The Decathlon attracts so many attractive men? Mutual admiration? The chance to expose and display to others of similar physique and beauty? Or just sheer homo-eroticism? Whatever, I thank God for Track & Field, and The Decathlon in particular.

Cheers Finneye! You have excelled yourself!

Cannot wait for Day 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of my favorite "obscure" athletes are listed in IAAF's Focus on Athletes. Among them:

He's well worth jumping for:
