Well done Sportinlife!
For bringing back some truly beautiful men to the website.
Maybe it was just the Winter "Blues" but I was becoming very, very weary of all those over-muscled,over-padded, spotty-faced American Football players!
Good to see some true masculinity.........Robles, Clement, Sanchez and Iakovakis.
Thank you! cheered me up no end!

Had realised it was the Superbowl weekend!
But tell me this........why do so many of the American Football guys look as if they have just stepped out of the "Deliverance" movie? And I am not talking Jon Voight or Burt Rernolds either!!!!!!

Linus Thörnblad is the (almost) best Swedish highjumper.

Over a year ago, the above picture was used in the cover of
Sweden’s largest gay magazine QX.
Linus did an underwear modelling photo session with them. In an interview published in the same issue, Linus said he was actually sorry he wasn’t a gay athlete because he new there was so much to see in the showers going totally wasted on him...
He doesn’t have anything against becoming a new gay icon in Sweden, and he thinks admiration by gays is a lot more flattering because ”gays are very petty and they are the real experts when it comes to good looks”.
His dream - besides the high jump career- is to become something like the
Swedish football star and Calvin Klein model Freddie Ljungberg.
I think Linus would have all the right qualities required for that job too:

Thörnblad may not have Ljunberg's curvaceousness, but he's cute when he does this
Brokeback Mountain look. That's gayer than he would probably think.

Okay, he's a good-looking guy, but I think Europeans look hilarious when they try to do the cowboy look. They just don't get it quite right. To quote Sydney Poitier's character from

I was miffed about this story about
how French long-jumper Samil Sdiri feels bitter about his treatment by Finnish javelin tosser Tero Pitkämäki.
Apparently Sdiri will find it very difficult to make the Beijing Olympics perhaps due to the physical and psychological injury from that accident.
So I'm calling on Tero to very publicly kiss and make up with Salim. Not so difficult a task, eh?

It's the least he could do to avoid a second
stab in the back of a fellow athlete.
I will humbly offer my very modest services as photographer to record that momentous event.

It did me the world of good to see some track and field "beauties" from the World Championships!
You taste is exquisite as always!
Fasuba is SO cute!
Mokoena is dynamic in the right regions!
Tyler Christopher is a hunk and much, much better-looking than George Michael!
The young Spaniard awaiting the baton in the 4 x 400 Relay is magnificent! That body!! Pheeew!
There were so many pleasures at the meeting.
Did you manage to take photos of Robles, the Cuban high-hurdler?

Martinez the Cuban long-jumper is new to me but an amazingly handsome man.
Evora, Robles, Mokoena.........all superbly "equipped" and just poetry in motion!
Keep up the excellent work.
It is a pleasure to view and admire your superb choices of fantastic manhood.!
So sad that Robles was denied the opportunity to face Liu Zhiang in the 60 metres hurdles final. It would have been really "hot!"

Apropos,
Colin Jackson.

Gay or not - as far as I am concerned, he could have answered
the "gay-question" as did the sci-fi-writer Sir Arthur C. Clarke, recently diseased at 90: "No, merely mildly cheerful."
Anyhow Colin (left in the above picture) looks superb and has got good taste with buddies as well (in this case Linford "the lunchbox" Christie).
There is nothing gay in this picture either...nor in this one...And here Colin is just admiring swimmer Mark Foster's tanOh, if there is anyone wondering how Colin's training buddy Linford got the nickname 'lunchbox'these pictures should provide sufficient evidence for that matter(If the links won't open properly at the first attempt, try refreshing the view by hitting F5)

Hi Finneye!
Thanks for the pictures of Linford and Colin.
As a "Brit" I too am extremely disappointed with Colin and his refusal to answer the "gay or not question!"
Mark Foster, the swimmer, apparently "came out" some time ago and is it not coincidental that he and Colin shared a home together for some time?
I, like many others, do not have any qualms regarding whether Colin is in fact gay or not.........but my God, how fantastic it would be if in fact he was, and had the courage to admit it. The impact that would have on World Athletics, never mind UK Athletics would be immense!
Oh, and to be anecdotal, I actually taught and coached Linford when he was a mere eleven years old at his Junior School in West London. We still speak when we bump into each other near our respective homes in that part of London. A true icon of UK Athletics!
Cheers!

Hi Sportinlife.
Cheers for the pictures of Mark Foster (condom and all!!!!) and Colin Jackson.
Again, coincidences continue to mount! The third athlete in the photograph is in fact David James, goalkeeper for English Premiership Football team, Portsmouth. David is an interesting guy.......happily married but with an incredibly positive and empathetic approach to gay men and gay sportsmen particularly. Frequently asked if he is in fact gay himself, David is quite happy to state that whilst he is not gay, he has many gay friends and has no problem whatsoever, competing with and accepting gay footballers into his squad. In fact he has also said that he feels that if gay footballers in the English Premiership would only "come out" the sport itself would be far healthier and inclusive.
David also did some magnificent photo-spreads for Armani underwear. Or was it Versace? Whatever, he looked pretty handsome.
So come on Colin..........dig deeper and more honestly!

I couldn't agree more, Jim, the photos are just great - and there seems to be perfect cooperation between the photograper and the athletes.
About the site haven't got much clue, as Czech isn't one of my strongest languages
I assume it is a site dedicated to the training and competing activities of the athletes coached by Ludvik Svoboda, as it is titled 'svobodagroup'.
Ludvik is seen here with Libor Zilka. And I am almost certain that all of them are track or multievent athletes, and most of them have IAAF profiles too.

Rather than start a new thread, I'll post this here under "...and other guys in tights". Today, riding my bike through Golden Gate Park, I was pleasantly surprised to see a race, the San Francisco Rollerblading Marathon. 26.2 miles on blades, back and forth on JFK Drive. Had never seen this before, but happy to find the guys wear these one-piece spandex singlets. Nice. Of course they whizzed by too fast to get a good look, or a good picture.
This is the only that turned out half-way decent.

Carlos Eduardo Chinin of Brazil competed recently at the 21st Multistars event in Decathlon in Desenzano, Italy.

After the first day and five events he had the lead, but after failing at the 110m hurdles of the second day he discontinued the race.

At last year’s XV Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro he finished third after Maurice Smith of Jamaica and Yordani Garcia of Cuba.
He also represented his home country at the World Championships in Osaka in 2007, but did not finish the competition.See more of him (and hear him being interviewed in his beautiful native language of Portuguese) in YouTube.

Since Chinin is about five years younger than Smith, and Garcia about eight years younger, I'd say Maurice is going to have some serious competition in the near future, if not in this years Olympics.
And yes that Brazilian Portuguese is very sexy.
