What a package! Of Dominican descent Felix Sanchez was born in New York and raised in San Diego.

He wrestled in high school but switched to track after suffering an injury. Apparently he likes tights, which is fine with me. wink

Not many guys fill 'em the way he does.

For a native of nueva york he seems fairly sweet and innocent. His goals in France were to win enough to buy a house for mom and visit the top of the Eiffel Tower.

He may run for the DR where his parents are both citizens (giving him full citizenship there as well) but he seems about as "apple pie" as any other american.

There was pole vaulter in some of my classes. This was years ago. Good golly, he was gorgeous. I had the chance to observe him in those really skimpy black nylon track shorts that you'd see in the early 80s. My, my, my. I can see him in my mind's eye even now.

I "Tivo'd" the NCAA Indoor Championships the other day on ESPN2. A lot of these fine specimans are football players who compete in track & field in the off season.

Those tight spandex suit hug every inch of their beautiful bodies.

I slow-mo'd one portion and was mesmerized watching this one sprinter's huge goodies bounce up and down as he walked around after a race.

What a hunk of German beefcake to come across while surfing track and field web sites.

I think I went to school at the wrong time. The Pre Classic was always the big spring event on campus. Too bad in my day, the athletes only wore those nylon running shorts, which were not too terrible. But none of these lyrca form fitting shorts. :mad:

Was that the competition where I saw Jonathan Johnson of Texas Tech running straight toward the camera in a white singlet? That was a sight to remember. Here's a small picture of him from his school's website, but that vision in white is still etched in my mind: I wish I could find it on the Internet somewhere.
