anyone else checking out ESPN2's World's Strongest Man marathon this week? Love those big boys... especially American Don Pope and the new goatee on Swede Magnus Samuelson.

oh.. I agree. I flipped between the bowl games and the strong man competition all day yesterday. The polish guy who was the 2002/2003 was my favorite! His muscularity was amazing.

As much as I love World's Strongest Man (and I do... REALLY, I do) I get aggro sometimes that there is less tennis aired on ESPN. Don't get me wrong, I think it's phenomenal these guys can pull airplaines and Mac trucks, but can't I get a little more tennis??? Please?

Might be safe to assume that a lot of these guys (especially the Europeans) are juiced as I've heard WSM only tests for speed, but it sure makes for nice eye candy!

If you can find Whit Baskin's website, you'll see a huge difference in his physique between his "off season" conditioning and his competitive condition. It's crazy.

I loved the marathon. Especially, the 2001/2002 winner. I can't remember his name but .......yum!!!!!!!!

Here's a new strong man web site that I didn't know about until today. United Strongman Series has lots and lots of pix from recent events. My favorite series of pix are the ones from the Bangkok meet becasue it has the most pix with the big boys with their shirts off.
