Not all men in the calendar are in the Stade Francais club. There are a dozen guests. Some are from other rugby clubs and some play other sports.

I just received mine yesterday. And alas, it won't play in one of my DVD players. It will play in a newer DVD, but the picture is pretty bad. It's like bad tracking on a VHS Tape. I can see some of it, and WOW!

I'm curious to know which guys ordered it from STADE.com and which ordered it from AMAZON.Fr.com

I ordered my ill fated DVD directly from the StadeFrance website, but your order from Amazon.France didn't help either!

I have been looking for a portable DVD player that will play all regions. I prefer a portable DVD player because it is too much trouble to get a DVD player and a special TV monitor just for a few "foreign" DVDs! There are some web businesses that do sell adapted Panasonic and Sony portables for this purpose but I don't trust these unknown web businesses. I tried Circuit City but they didn't have anything that would play all regions.

Comrades, do you know where I can find reliable and trustworthy businesses that sell these portable DVD players for all regions?

the portables, I don't know about. My DVD won't play in my portable player either.

my DVD from stade.fr plays in all my other DVD players (including the $50 apex player from circuit city for region 1 only) and it plays in my mac and PC DVD drives.

sorry you're having such troubles. but I have had no trouble at all. really.

as stated earlier, I believe ordering from Stade.fr directly gets you DVD that plays in the US also. where the amazon.fr will get you a europe only DVD. (not totally sure. But I think that's what's happening)

by the way, had to do a search in "hot jock talk" tyo find the earlier thread. You would not believe how many of the topics in that section are about "butts", "guys' asses" and "who's got a hot ass". I guess I know what we like

Ung, I got my DVD today, but when I opened it, I knew I'd immediately have a problem: It said "PAL" on it, meaning it was in the PAL format. Sure enough, the moment I inserted it into my DVD player, I got a response: "Playback prohibited due to area limitations." Argh! :mad:

Now I've got to see if they'll exchange it for a North American format.

I still have the ill-fated DVD in PAL format. If you find out if they will exchange for another DVD in the right format, can you let me know? Maybe we can ship our DVDs together to Paris for this exchange. What do you think?

I agree too. Have you guys tried playing the DVD in your computer drive?

btw... My disc says PAL also. But it still plays in my player.

I can get mine to play in my Xbox. If you have one of the other systems (PS, GameCube) you should try it, if it has DVD playback capabitlity.

See the making of the dieux du stade calendar. You wil need Real Player. It's OMG Hot hot hot. I can't believe these guys are actual professional Rugby players. I'm not sure if this is the same vid that Wilyboy posted in the other rugbby link.

Frederic Michalak makes me melt. He is absolutely gorgeous.

There seems to be a very relaxed and natural chemistry between Frederic Michalak and Clement Poitrenaud in their photos. Hard to imagine American Football players having so few hangups about posing nude in suggestive positions with another man.

François Rousseau is a wonderful photographer; And I certainly applaud the French National Rugby Team for their concern to give wider exposure to their sport... however you are looking at the 2004 calender. many of these images are already all over the internet.

They pick a different photographer every year.

Can't wait to see 2006.

You can view some pretty damn hot videos of the making of this French rugby team's nude calendar (no full frontal - but everything else). Every single one of these guys is drool-worthy. I wonder if any US sports team will ever have the balls (pun intended) to do a calendar like this, much less the videos?

I remember seeing the calendar these guys put out a couple of years ago, and I thought the players and the photos were even hotter back then.
