Anyone have any examples or knowledge of this happiening or a story of when they played?
Interested....I never realized this happened!

Two things: Kerry Wood has also admitted to urinating on his hands to toughen them (should someone nicknamed "Woody" admit to that???) and Mark Schlereth is nicknamed stinky because he used to urinate in his uniform--not every game but occasionally.

Oh, the last item in that espn article is disgusting. I've often wondered about that though, especially in football. In baseball, at least they have time to sneak off to the restroom during a pitcher change or something.
I peed on my hand once, when I was stung by a sea urchin. It's supposed to make the little stingers come out of the skin. It worked, but only for a few of the stingers that weren't in too deep. The rest had to wait until we got back to land for a doctor to prick them out.

I'd never heard of it in sports before, but I had heard of it back home. Farmers and ranchers would some times do it for the same reason. It toughens the skin and prevents them from becoming dry and cracking when working out in windy, snowy weather all day.

I can't believe it!!!!
And they say those leatherboys are kinky....
you'd think as much money in pro sports, someone could come up with a way for a man to relieve himself without having to regress back to infancy.

I pee on my feet in the shower if I have a bit of athlete's foot or on mosquito bites that really itch on my legs.
Hehehe... can't believe I am admitting to that, but for the feet it is supposed to have antifungal and bacterial properties because it is acidic.

Once, while mountain biking i had to stop to answer "nature's call". anyway, i stopped and got of the bike and then accidently peed on the handle bars. does this count???

side topic --- In my last half marathon, I had to stop to pee in the porta potty... well, i thought i was done and i was in a hurry to get back with the pack, so I ran out, but I dribbled for another 10-20 seconds--- pee came down all over my legs, so i quickly poured water all over myself to "cover" the mess. I don't think anyone noticed, but I knew I smelled sweat and pee. I know... I should have kept it to myself.

Well at least you stopped to pee....I admit it...I've pee'd on myself more then once in a marathon...your in a groove and you don't want to stop....but you gotta go...so you go, but you don't stop...just pace yourself away from other people...

So many great things about being a girl, but here's one that is not: you cannot pee while on the bike. It just doesn't work. Too much saddle pressure to be able to "pour the dew out of the lily," if you know what I mean.

ROFL! What a coincedence! I was at a Rugby tournament recently and watched one of the player take a whiz while doing his stratches! I couldn't believe it!
