It's just that I'm on dail-up and it's taking eons for the pictures to download once a click on the thumnail and the photos aren't that big.

Anyway Gabe isn't my favorite Red Sox player, that would be the handsome and mega hunk Jason Varitek, but Gabe is so hot and handsome!

We did Gabe about 3 years ago and then banned threads about him.....it was E-V-E-R-Y DAY, Gabe, this, Gabe, that

You know I actually saw a post awhile back with "...he who shall not be named..." or something like that in the message, but I had no idea that it was because there were alot of posts made about Gabe in the past... I thought it was about something else regarding him.

I only found this site about 1 and a half years ago so I had no idea...

I was always under the impression that the he-who-must-not-be-named was just an inside joke. I never even noticed that there was an actual point in time where everyone got fed up with GK. People just suddenly stopped referring to him by name. He's not particularly newsworthy. I suppose all the hubbub was due to the availability of GK pictures sans shirt.

It really started in the days of the old message board, because the setup of that board didn't have separate forums...there was post after post after post all saying things like "GABE KAPLER IS SOOOOOOOO HOT!!!!!!!!!!" because people didn't see the earlier threads.

Setting his amazing body aside (though only a fool would), you gotta admit the guy is positively adorable.

Whenever anyone mentions the old message board, I get all misty-eyed & nostalgic. Sort of like when someone refers to a refrigerator as an icebox.

Btw, GK has filed for free agency, so who knows, he could be on his way to your town next! I'll never forget him in his Red Sox uniform, though!
