Adorable Josh McDaniels, offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots,
looks like a pouting pussy cat as he makes a face
as Patriots safety Rodney Harrison (37) talks with him before practice
begins at the team's football facility in Foxborough, Mass., Wednesday,
afternoon Oct. 1, 2008. The 2-1 Patriots will face the 2-2 San Francisco 49's
Sunday, October 5, 2008, in California. Josh is only 31 years old and
the youngest offensive coordinator in the NFL. McDaniels joined the Patriots
in 2001 as an assistant in the scouting department and was a member
of the defensive coaching staff for three seasons before becoming
quarterbacks coach in 2004. That year, quarterback Tom Brady produced
the highest rating of his career, 92.9, which was also the second highest
single-season passer rating in team history. Brady's 28 touchdown passes
ranked second in the AFC and tied his career high from 2002.
