It seems to me that this can only be between BC, UConn, Pitt, or Villanova. Syracuse has some great quickness inside, but if McNamara can be stopped on the outside, they're in trouble. ND peaked in mid January it seems, although they did beat a BC team that was due for a loss. UConn has to be the favorite based on recent play, but any of those first four could be in the final.

I think UConn is the team to beat. Overall, they're probably the best team in the conference - and they seem to be peaking at just the right time. You can never count out Syracuse. Boeheim always his teams ready at tournament time. Villanova could make some noise, too. They're one of those teams that no one wants to play. I'm still not sold on BC and Pitt has been too up-and-down this season. Sadly, my WVU MOuntaineers could have gone into the BE tournament on a roll, but that loss Saturday to Seton Hall was a killer.

i think wvu plays providence in the first round. on the face of it, it looks like an easy game, but the friars have won 3 of 4 and are probably better than their record indicates (#6 in sos)
