You don't find too many beefy wrestlers, particularly in the 'national amateur' side of things. In college, you see guys like Damion Hahn and Tommy Rowlands....but almost everyone who is not a heavyweight normally just looks 'built' and not 'beefy'.

Most of them I knew in college and outside of college, they are pretty beefy to me.

In this case, beefy just seems to be a euphemism for fat...in which case, you're not going to find many of those in college wrestling. And plus, 18-22 year olds are not going to look "mature." If you don't like sportinlife's posts, then just don't look at them.

An interesting sidenote from NPR. Apparently some countries have started "importin" top-level athletes specifically for the Olympic games. The example used was Qatar's recruiting several Bulgarian wrestlers who just missed making Bulgaria's Olympic team. Given Arabic names, they competed an won a handful of medals for Qatar.

I think any of the Gulf oil states have long made a history of purchasing athletes overseas. After all is there anything that enough oil money can't buy nowadays?
