Love Bertin! But I must admit, my favorite photo
of him is
this one with euphoric Matt Gentry's (Stanford) crotch shoved right up against Bertin's butt. Enough to make any gay man scream in extasy.

i just found this site today and have been obsessed with it; not getting much done today.
i am a huge cardinal's fan for reasons i will leave unstated and was estatic when gentry won 157 in 2004. but secretly, i was glad bertin won again this year. i am just glad i dont live anywhere near ann arbor b/c i would find myself preoccupied with this stud. plus, my bf of a year and a half, who is a former champion college wrestler would be quite jealous. imagine bertin and him getting into a tangle over me!! i would pay good money to see that match!!

Warning: Thread drift ahead!
Whenever I read the phrase "folkstyle wrestling" I think of Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell getting into the ring with their gee-tars and singing for a rowdy audience.

Bryant: you do have fine taste in men. I assume from the above that you're a huge Golden Bear fan? ; )

jockpop - right about my taste in wrestlers ( been dating a former ncaa wrestler for a year and a half now) but, no way am i a golden bears fan! from my perspective, aren't the cardinals the only noteworthy college team in the bay area?

Bryant: wrestlers are absolutely the next best thing to swimmers -- and they have an uncommonly good way of staying in shape over the years. I guess the record suggests that Cardinal swimmers are as fine as they get (certinaly the videos prove it). I did a masters camp with Kinney and Quick in '99 -- had a lot of fun there and learned a ton. Know one current swimmer there -- a breaststroker. What a place. (I was just playing with ya in re the Bears -- I knew better.) Do you ever swim at the Palladium? I do when I can -- nice enough for the city, but doesn't compare with Palo Alto.
