From a team press release:

QUOTE
More than 70,000 tickets were sold today on the first day of individual game ticket sales for 80 Phillies games in Citizens Bank Park. Including the tickets that were available on a pre-sale basis to Phillies season ticket holders earlier this week, over 125,000 tickets have been sold since Monday. The total easily topped the 48,000 tickets sold on the first day a year ago.

With the combination of season, group and individual ticket sales, the Phillies have already passed 2,000,000 tickets sold for 2004. Individual game tickets are currently no longer available for 10 dates. A limited number of seats may become available at a later date based on final season ticket sales.

Interest in season tickets continues to be strong. To date, the Phillies have sold a record 22,800 season tickets. \"With the terrific off-season player acquisitions and the immense excitement surrounding Citizens Bank Park, the selling climate has been perfect for us. We are on a record selling pace and we're just hitting our prime season ticket 'selling' period,\" stated John Weber, Director of Sales.

I guess those numbers include the tickets we've blocked for the Outsports.com group at the new ballpark, and that other small group I'm working on, Gay Community Night with the Phillies 2004. smile.gif

George - can't figure it out (yet).

Today's newspaper reports 10 Phillies games have already sold out - opening day, some of the Sunday games and one of the two July 4th weekend fireworks nights.

What's the answer to George's puzzle???

Meanwhile, Harry Kalas has finally signed a 3-year contract to continue broadcasting Phils games. Thus, they've officially announced the restaurant bearing his name at the new ballpark...

QUOTE
The restaurant, called Harry the K's, will be a casual, finger-food type, bi-level restaurant built into the scoreboard building in left field. Both levels will be open air and will have great views of the playing field.

You guys have actually seen Wheel of Fortune haven't you? You're suppossed to guess some letters. Small hint-it's something that folks from Tampa, South Florida and Arizona have been accused of getting on.

Ooh you win Munson Man!!! Now playing by the old Wheel of Fortune you now have to go shopping and spend $3000 on a ceramic Dalmation umbrella holder and the rest on a gift certificate.

I thought Munson Man would have bought the $411 can opener instead. tongue.gif
