Then head to Milwaukee! Extras are need for the movie "Mr. 3000", starring Bernie Mac. Filming will take place at Miller Park from July 16-31 -- but the casting call is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday.
The movie's about a "retired major-leaguer who learns that because of a statistical error, he is three hits shy of the prestigious 3,000 mark, and he decides to stage a comeback".
Read more here. They've already auditioned a bunch of local athletes for player roles.

I spent a couple of nights (8pm - 2am) being an extra in the crowd scenes at Yankee Stadium for Anger Management. I was only a few rows behind the home dugout (easily the best seats I ever had), and was only a few yards away from Adam, Jack, Marisa and the Rocket. Once that buzz wore off, the experience quickly became tedious; sitting around looking at nothing during the long down times between shots isn't as cool as it sounds.
