Today is OCt 4th - the 50th anniversary of when the Brooklyn Dodgers won the World Series.

An event many of my fathers generation told me stories about for years,

A day to remember.

Brooklyn in da house! Also a reminder that New York was (and still is) a National League town, in which most serious baseball fans hate the Yankees.
